Woodbriar Tavern & Grille — Restaurant in Berlin

Well I was a patron here for a while today was my birthday I came in spent a nice amount over 150 bucks on shots beer food etc everything was cool until the bartender named Kate sold me two shots of water took her around fifty dollars in tips and left she stole money from me I asked for two shots and she drop of two shot glasses filled with water and said it’s a melted snow man laughed and left my fiancé who was sitting with me was upset that they now started to ignore us the bartender walked by and said you guys aren’t getting anything I wasn’t drunk I wasn’t rowdy I wasn’t loud I was actually really respectable I just said to my friends let’s leave my fiancé asked the head bartender why this was happening why the sudden change in attitude towards us and she flat out lied and said I walked past the office which I never did stayed seated until I left but I walked by their cash office and was cussing I am ready to swear on a stack of bibles this never happened tbh this is a white over fifty bar they do not treat others nicely and by other I mean anybody not white if this isn’t the truth it is most definitely how it feels I will be seeking further action in the law as I believe I was profiled and also they sold me shots of water they took money and gave me water that has to be illegal we will soon find out I wish anyone in the Berlin area who isn’t their “type of people” the best when entering their establishment the best of luck you will be treated differently btw don’t be under fifty you will be...

Mary, the server was just a darling; good and gracious server! Inside is spacious and clean with a good vibe; very welcoming! Food was made really well and was fresh; minimal heartburn especially considering we ordered several fried dishes. Mild and extra hot wings were really good, fried mushrooms and cheesesteak egg rolls were exceptional! I ordered the chicken domenico which was top notched and my wife's po boy were good. We even even ordered pepperoni pizza which was good as well. We came home satisfied and the food sat in our tummies with no bad effects. Bar food can go down easy but normally will feel it especially if you're older. Beer and cocktails were really good! Honestly , I do not know who are all these people who gave even 4 stars to this place and talked about good food and cleanliness. It’s a dive bar. The food is very greasy and far not even average. The menu is very limited to some appetizers and sandwiches. So many dive bars offer better quality food. The beer and wine list is very small. The place is not family friendly either. Smoking area is next to seating tables where others dine. I would not rate this place higher than 3 at most. Definitely not coming back or recommending. There are many much better places...
