I would give this a zero star if I could…. Anyhow I tend to never write a review or complain about most places, but with this experience I feel like it should be here. I order take out for the company pretty frequently because I work near by. Every time I’ve ordered the order has been correct and the food is decent for the options near by. This time I ordered and there was a mistake, which is fine because it happens. So I called to see if I can get the order corrected. The same lady who took my order picked up and she repeated what she had written down for the order and there was a mistake with what she read off to me. I corrected her and said I ordered sesame chicken with noodles. She had put down sesame noodles and that is indeed what I received. Now this is where I have a issue with Happy Garden. I understand not all customers are correct and sometimes customers will complain about anything to take advantage of businesses. So instead of saying sorry we will fix the mistake free of charge and actually give me the correct order. She told me I had to pay $7 to get it. I was kind of confused at her response, so my response was so I have to pay more money to get the right order? She said some words, but it pretty much was pay $7 or get nothing. So I decided to test some more of her customer service because there already was none at this point, but I told her we won’t be ordering here ever again to see if I get some type of reaction to get my food I ordered and there was nothing. We said good bye and that was it. I will not be ordering here anymore sadly. I don’t understand how taking a loss of maybe $4 to make the food and correcting the issue is worth losing customers that spend...
Read moreGreat food and they deliver if you're in the area... We order food for delivery here, but often just go pick it up ourselves because the wait time can be a little long some time. Although the last time we had delivery from here, it arrived quickly. The food was good, although, I've had better Won Ton soup, (but it wasn't terrible). This is more of the exception than the rule. I enjoyed the Beef with Broccoli, as well as the pork fried rice. Bottom line: It doesn't get much better when it comes to Chinese food delivery. Update: We ordered the usual from here again for delivery and I must say, the Won Ton soup is better than previously reported. It seems that the one time it was bad (the first time), it was a bad batch. This is a lesson for all businesses... Consistency is key. Had I not given the Won Ton a second try, I would have thought it was just not that good. Always put out your best product/work, because you never know what the effect will be if you fail...
Read moreMy mom went here and spent $109 on food, they gave nothing for free like other places with offers. On top of it she checks the food inside luckily and is missing a wonton soup and the female worker at the front told my mom that they didn’t and it’s in there and she said no come look, she was argumentative and came over to look and was wrong. There was one missing and finally gave my mom a “small wonton soup” that we had ordered. Just horrible service because knowing we spent $109 dollars on Chinese food it’s mind blowing how she would think my mom was lying over a tiny wonton soup and just her customer service skills no sympathy and offering something, completely put a bad taste in our families mouth and we use to go here plenty of times and spread the word usually but not anymore. Will definitely be heading back...
