Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Berlin

Staff exhibits very unsafe food prep practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. They leave spoon and lids on top of an unclean counter space then insert/place them on the food. Last time I was there one of the employees was using the spoons she was going to insert into my food as drumsticks on the counter top and clutching the end of the spoons with the same gloves she’d been handling other people’s money with and placed the lids food contact side down on the counter top. When I tried to get her attention so I could tell her not to give me those spoons and lids her and her coworkers would not turn around to look at me, then they acted annoyed when I told them I would not accept the food items they put those utensils and lids in and I wanted new food items. They proceeded to act like I had greatly inconvenienced them, with the chief offender slumping and saying “seriously”? I will not be returning to this DQ location as the staff, who appear to be mostly high school aged teenagers and are back in school where infection rates are rising, continue to exhibit negligence toward public health and...

I come to this location a lot only because I live so close and the next closest one is pointless to drive to. With that being said, I really should start going to Cromwell. I ALWAYS have to correct my order with certain employees, and they get mad that I'm fustrated. Why am I fustrated? Because I just waited for 3 cars in front of me FOR 20 MINUTES and now I'm wasting an extra five minutes for my order to be corrected (because everything is done at a snails pace) because you can't get it right in the first place. Either listen better, learn how to read, or get another job. Second, when you have a customer service job, be respectful and polite to the customers who are paying for your food and don't ask "you're here again" yeah I'm here again. What's the issue? I had asked for the large meal ,but got handed a medium soda .I told the kid it was supposed to be a large and he took my cup back and walked away .he was gone for a few minutes and came back telling me they hadn't charged me for a large , and said if I wanted large he would have to charge me again . I walked away to sit and realized the bench had hardened sticky ice cream on it so I grabbed another seat . Looking around there was trash here and there all over the seating area .then I started eating to find my crispy chicken sandwhich was cold . Hmmm???
