Have eaten here numerous times and enjoyed it, but recent experience was awful. First of all, they falsely advertise free 2-liter EVERYWHERE with their football special including online and on a big banner on the front of the store. When I ordered it I asked to make sure and they said it won't come with the soda so I said okay cuz thought maybe I was mistaken. We also added 2 toppings to our pizza so i expected an extra charge from the normal 29.99. After looking online to confirm they are still advertising the 2 liter soda I called back to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding at which point the bitchy owner had a freak attack and yelled at me demanding they stopped doing that deal 2 years ago "sir". She was so rude about it I almost cancelled the order to spite her but the D-man was already on the way. Additionally, when the delivery arrived, the charge was 42$ and some change. Lets do the math, 29.99 plus 2 toppings = $42. WTF? I asked the d-man to double check and make sure and looked at the receipt, sure enough they simply just ripped me off by adding almost 5 dollars for each topping (+tax). I am so disgusted with pieros and will never eat there again even though I live 2 minutes away and was a regular customer. I feel cheated AND...
Read moreI live less than 10 minutes away, and decided to give them a try this past Saturday 5/13/2017. I ordered 2 large pizzas, one cheese, one bacon. Also 30 wings extra crispy, and an order of fries. I picked up my order, and went home. Long story short, the bacon pizza was burnt.... completely. The wings were not crispy in the slightest, let alone extra crispy, and the fries were soggy to the point that they were inedible. I spent almost $40 for one good cheese pizza, and wasn't too happy about it. I decided to call them and let them know. I nicely explained what happened, the gentleman on the phone apologized repeatedly. He told me he would leave a note for the owner to call me Monday morning, and took my info. Thursday came, still no call. I called back and got a different employee. I explained everything to her, she also said she was leaving a note for the owner who would be in at 4pm that day. No call.
I will never eat there again, nor would I knowingly let anyone I know go there. The days of family owned restaurants showing good customer service seems to be coming to an end. It's a shame really. I'd rather give my business to...
Read moreDropped by while on the road. We were the only ones in there at around three or four of clock. Food is ok. Not great, certainly not bad. Place is very, very dirty. Didn't feel that the food was poorly prepared or that the health inspector should be called, but the dining room was very dirty and the bathrooms we're appalling.
The other thing that was very annoying is that they charge for water. (?!) We have a ton of kids and my usually get them water from the fountain. They have a big sign that says they charge for ice (seemingly for people who order 2 liters) but they said that they had to charge for just plain tap water too. My wife, admittedly a but of a smart Alek said "ok, so we won't used ice." The woman behind the counter got the hint, to some extent, but said she'd only charge us for three waters, not five.
Also a big sign on the soda fountain that says that refills are 75 cents. This is 2019. Who charges for water and refills? This is minor, but I found it annoying.
I need to stress that the food was good and the staff very, very kind. I just couldn't get past the dirt and the...
