17 People 0530 pm meal. Early because there were five kids under five. I didn't really ask everybody however my calamari was like chewing gum. However my short ribs over risotto we're out of this world super delicious. There was a break between the appetizer and the entree that some of my adult children told me was close to an hour. My oldest actually got up and reminded them that we had not received our entrees. The house wines my wife and I ordered were excellent with our food. I loved my red velvet cake, however my wife's cheesecake was so rubbery she nor even I who usually eat almost anything ate it after the first bite. My double cappuccino was more just like a cup of coffee than having the bite of espresso. We had a good time because it was Nonna's birthday and we rarely get most of the family together but we did feel ignored they probably would have had double the bar bill if they had paid more attention to us. Unless we got up to flag them down like my oldest did we were passed by not even told "sorry we're delayed on serving your entree can I get you a drink while it's being prepared". Having been in the restaurant business and many friends who own them they really gave up a lot of cash given some of the seats were not money makers as they were little children in them. I did check at least three times asking about the kids before I came fully understanding that some restaurants would rather not have little ones and would have taken no offense. Overall the kids were good especially given that they were there twice as long as we thought they would having to wait for the entrees. We went there because my wife recalled having such a good meal there before....
Read moreMy 2nd visit to Figaro 3 was even better than my first visit.
I live in NYC and stumbled upon Figaro 3 by sheer accident, I needed a restroom so I pulled of at the nearest exit and discovered the restaurant.
I've had the veal Parm twice and it was excellent, and fairly priced. I also tried a slice of their chicken Parm pizza and was satisfied. The pizza slice was loaded with chicken so it can be a small meal by itself.
Parking is plentiful as it sits in an alcoved complex with other restaurants/stores and a residential building.
When I pass through New Jersey I now make it a point to try to stop for a bite at Figaro...
Read moreHost and wait staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Menu variety is excellent with beer and wine available as well. Our chicken Caesar salad was excellent and margarita pizza slices were delicious. They offer a long list of specials of the day. And the best part, they did not present us the bill to try to get us out of the restaurant...
