Starbucks — Restaurant in Bernardsville

I went to this Starbucks this morning. Although the majority of the staff is nice enough, I has a very unpleasant experience with one barista. I didn't get her name but she was a larger young woman with short hair. I order a SF-Vanilla Soy Chai, which was apparently written down as a latte (I never say Chai Latte so I'm not sure where that came from). Th barista made the latte and when I told her it was supposed to be a Chai she rolled her eyes at me, said "Well, it SAYS latte. You meant Chai?" and stormed off in huff, not even bothering to all out my new, correct drink, apologize or offer any kinds words whatsoever.

I go to this Starbucks establishment quite often and the service is often very slow. I would understand when there’s many people ordering all at once however when there’s 3 other people there I do not think it should take 30 minutes to make one cookie. Also, there is one specific worker named Paige who is constantly being rude and yelling at the students from the school nearby. I understand when they are being rowdy that you need to be strict but yelling at them for every little thing that they is so disrespectful. Often times she yells at the students for doing things that other non students are doing which shows her hypocrisy. I do no think that Paige is a good worker and if you can not fire her I hope someone fixes her attitude and she learns to be a little more kind to...

Very accommodating staff and conscientious about doing the right thing. They had overflown my wife's tea drink with ice which resulted in 3 sips of actual beverage being available for her to enjoy. The young gentleman present at the time (Sunday evening shift on 4/1/18) heard me out and found a solution we were both happy with. Thank you!

Some baristas or other store managers would have been a bit more reticent about this and maybe turned the customer away. Hey, they do what they are told to do from their higher-ups. It was nice to see someone willing to understand and then going above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I left grateful for good people out there, with a happy wife and a great tea drink as a result....
