I've hesitated to write this review, as I dislike leaving negative feedback, especially with so few art spaces for kids in our community. However, I hope it prompts parents to be more vigilant and encourages Creative Cube to improve their professionalism and carefully reassess their protocols, given their responsibility as a child center.
My 8-year-old daughter loves arts and crafts, so we signed up for their Open Craft session after enjoying a previous birthday party there. I registered and paid in advance, expecting activities like Clay, Mosaic, Painting and Glass Fusing, as advertised on their website. Since the center allows drop-offs for kids aged 9 and older at no extra fee, I thought my independent daughter would be fine on her own.
When we arrived, there were no other kids—just a morning camp wrapping up. The owner, who was at the register, seemed displeased at the idea of a drop-off and mentioned an additional "babysitting" fee, which was actually higher than the session cost. I chose not to argue, as my daughter was excited about the craft project.
After paying, an employee took my daughter inside, and I left. When I returned 5 minutes before the session end time, I found no one at the entrance or register. My daughter was alone inside on a bench, and no employees were visible. She told me she was “bored and sad” and that she wasn’t allowed to start any projects because she was told, “Your mom hasn’t paid for it.” She was given a few pieces of paper and some pencils to draw. I couldn’t find anyone to address my concerns.
My main worry shifted from the project to the safety of the center. It was alarming to think anyone could have taken my daughter without any issue. I expected a call from Creative Cube to confirm I had picked up my child, but no one reached out.
The next day, I called the center and talked to a manager, Courtney, who informed me that the owner had just left for vacation. Courtney offered no valid explanation for the staff's misunderstanding and the lack of safety measures. While Courtney sincerely apologized, it didn’t alleviate my concerns.
I requested a call from the owner, which I never received. Instead, Courtney called me back and on behalf of the owners offered a free session which I declined.
Due to the lack of professionalism and serious safety lapses, my daughter will not return to...
Read moreThere weren’t many reviews regarding the birthday parties. So here is an in-depth one. You book it online but you don’t hear from them until the last week to get the final head count and payment and discuss food. So if you want info you call them. They don’t allow you to bring outside food in, okay, fine. The pizzas are really expensive (they make it there) - they’re like a round and bigger “Elio’s” pizza. The worker told me to order like 7 pies since I wanted the adults to eat; however, she was cutting the adult slices in half?! Why not just give them a whole slice, especially since I paid $25 a pie for it. And make sure you have your guests arrive early so you can make the most of your craft. And I wouldn’t upgrade to any of the food or coffee bar; they overprice it and make you think you’re getting something beautifl (for the price) but it’s very basic. And as soon as your party ends, they rush you out. Not a very warm staff. Oh well. Oh and when they pack up your art craft, they add in a pamphlet for their camp and...
Read moreThe Creative Cube is absolutely outstanding! Their summer camp is so well thought out and fun for the kids. As a parent who works full time, I really appreciate the early drop-off and late pick-up options, it makes things so much easier. Lunch is included, and they actually make the food on premise, with multiple meal options to choose from, which is such a rare and amazing perk.
The camp keeps things fresh with different crafts every single day, so the kids never repeat an activity. On top of that, they have both indoor and outdoor play areas that are perfect for letting the kids burn off energy when they’re not doing arts and crafts. My son personally gave their play area a 10/10 and the craft room a 9.5/10, he absolutely loves it here!
We are beyond happy with our experience and will definitely be back next summer. Highly recommend The Creative Cube to any parent looking for a fun, engaging, and supportive camp environment for...
