Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Bertrand Township

Ordered a pepperoni pizza, but got mushroom, as well, due to the special was for a two topping pizza. The pizza had way too much sauce and not very much cheese. I thought it tasted off bc of all the sauce, but after eating some, I realized there was no pepperoni. I called and the manager offered a credit for a replacement pizza. Today, I order the pizza, go to pick it up and the girl working stating she was a manager, was rude and the manager I had spoken to never put the credit in, so I wasted my time and gas to go deal with her telling me I can talk to the general manager, he'll be there Friday -- its Monday. She said she was just talking to him on the phone, and I ask her to call him. She does supposedly but he doesn't answer the phone, but even that was suspicious like she didn't really call. The best part of all, I'm majorly ticked at this time and she knows it, and she asks me did I want to still purchase the pizza?!!! NO!! I will never purchase Papa Johns pizza again. It looked and tasted awful. *Then i go to write this review, and see another customer had the exact same issue with the manager not putting in the credit like 1 month ago! PAPA JOHNS: IF YOU WANT TO WIN BACK CUSTOMERS AFTER MESSING UP FOOD, DON'T MESS UP WHEN YOU OFFER TO REPLACE IT!! THEN YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE! NOW I KNOW WHY NOBODY WANTS PAPA...

Pizza is hit or miss, normally taste decent but presentation and honoring what ppl pay for is the issue. Don’t pay for extra cheese or any toppings for that matter. I normally just order extra cheese so that there is actually enough cheese on the pizza to eat it and we order light sauce because we like the toppings and cheese more. I’ve paid for extra cheese multiple times (just to get regular cheese) and this time it wasn't even a regular amount of cheese, just unacceptable. Pizza had bald spots all over it so no cheese in those spots and barely any cheese in the spots that had cheese on them. Most of the toppings on the pizza were in the center of the pizza instead of worked inward or outward while laying toppings(not the first or the last I’m sure) . It don’t take someone with special talents to make sure the customers get what they pay extra for. Papa John’s has great pizza but throwing it together like trash will definitely change the taste and quality. Also don’t ask for square cut or well done because 9x out of 10 they...

I am so upset, tonight I placed an order online, I ordered and paid for extra items, no one brought me my items....when I called the manager of the store on 5/14/22 asking for the items to be brought out to me she said no their driver had already left for the night at 8:20pm and it was a door dasher who failed to deliver our items. I asked her to call and have another door dasher bring our items out and she said no they would give me store credit, I told her no I was Never returning to Papa John's I would like a refund. She said no and actually hung up on me! I was not being rude, I was not saying what was running through my head. She wouldn't tell me her name, so I called the general number and tried to speak to someone and got nowhere. And these are the "awesome" oh so helpful people that want $15 an hour but can't even get an order right. Now I have to fight with the bank to get my money back because Papa John's only can offer store credit. Moving forward I will only support local...
