Was in Niles and decided to get a to go order for dinner. Sat at the bar and ordered, had a beverage while waiting. Other people came in to pick up to go orders, and theirs were packed in a nice looking paper Wings bag. Our order was tied up in a plastic bag. We live just across the state line. Ordered bone in Wings which were still warm, but hard and saucy. Ordered curly fries and received straight fries wrapped in paper and put into a plastic bag. Opened up wrapping and fries were balled together like a softball. They were not warm, we had to microwave. Ordered 2 side cheeses for fries, they were put in a plastic bag with the cold celery and blue cheese. Cheeses not even warm for dipping. Called and talked to a manager, right off the bat he offered a $10.00 voucher. We said that doesn't help our meal tonight, and we do not want the offer. This is just about what happened to us several months ago. It would be really productive for Wings ect if the owner actually would read the postings from patrons. Our choice going forward will be no more dining with this business and no...
Read moreThey really do a good job of making sure the wings are consistently cooked to a crisp without being dry and over-fried. I prefer having them served 'dry' and dipping them in the sauce so if I don't finish them all on the first go they don't get soggy. But to each their own. Their curly fries and tater tots are great. My only personal qualm is the jalapeño poppers with cheddar cheese instead of cream cheese. There prices, like all, seem a tad high for what it is these days but I think that has more to do with the current costs. As should be understood- always a bit louder in places like this which is not my preference. Also, you have to make your way to the bar and get the attention of the bartender to get takeout instead of some places where you can get it right from the hostess in the front. I prefer them over their main competitor and will always find a football day where wings just feel like the...
Read moreWhat can I say about the local Wings Etc? It used to be better. The bar used to be staffed with bartenders who knew how to pour a beer and knew how to be social and personable. Now, don't get me wrong. There is one bartender that totally rocks (Heather). But the last few times we went, we were waited on by a girl who cannot pour a beer to save her life. Also, when she sets it down, 1/4 it sloshes all over the counter in front of you making a mess. That you have to clean up. She's apparently too busy playing on her phone, or playing with her hair before she brings you your food. She even got smart with us when we asked if she could turn one of the tv's noone else was watching to a different channel. "Yeah I guess if noone else is watching it ". So, she's obviously not my fav. I'll go to the Wings on...
