This was my first time at the The Village Pizza. I placed an order for carry out. The team was very nice and my order was ready on time. I must say I've been to all of the famous pizza houses in Chicago and elsewhere, and this pizza is right there with them if not better! If you haven't been here you must give them a try! I ordered the vege, BBQ chicken, and pineapple with jalapeƱo. So finish reading this review and get there! Go! Go! Go!

Took a chance and tried this place. They weren't busy, and the cashier had a great attitude and explained the menu to us. We ordered a medium, everything pizza&garlic parm bites. And it was great there were tons of toppings on the pizza. The sauce tasted fresh, and the parm bites were awesome too. It's kinda expensive, but it's worth it. We will be back to try the sandwiches .

Ordered pizza from here for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised! Ordered the combination and added pineapple. The pizza was delicious! Plenty of toppings, cheese was good, sauce was good. Crust was tasty. I wish they offered thin crust as well. Overall, this was a good choice for pizza, will be ordering from them again.

This was my second try. The first time I ordered, I didn't mind the food...it was ok. I didn't do much research so I didn't know the cheese is on top. That is not a preference of mine as it causes the fats from the cheese to leak into the pizza and also creates a steam barrier so the beneath can be soggy. With the crust already stretched a little thin, you get this kinda sad, floppy pizza. BUT...the sauce was good and I found the toppings plentiful. The parmesean bites were very dense. Personally, fluffier breadticks are my preference. But what caught me most off guard on the first experience is that no dipping sauce comes with the breadsticks, and it's like $1.50 or something for just a little cup of pizza sauce.

Onto the recent experience, I figured I'd give them another shot, as my first experience wasn't completely terrible, but this time I chose the Buffalo Chicken pizza and had a side of Tomato Bread. Everything was DISGUSTING! Couldn't eat any of it. I felt stupid spending over $32 to throw it in the trash. The pizza, which on Facebook shows a swirl of ranch and Buffalo sauce, does not actually come with the swirl of ranch. They did put on on for me though, but note it doesn't come that way. The "Buffalo sauce" seems like just straight hot sauce. It's sour smelling and sour to the taste. The pizza also has red onions on it, which is not a complementary flavor. You can't taste anything but hot sauce and onions. Its just really gross. The tomato bread had hardly any tomatoes and were sliced way too thin, and it also was doused in balsamic. The menu says it has a balsamic "drizzle" but they pour it straight from the bottle, so its very heavily applied. You don't taste much else. There's not much cheese or garlic, or tomato. After a little while, the balsamic just soaks through and you end up with a soggy disgusting mess. Just absolutely terrible.

Also be aware that when you pay with a card, they turn the monitor halfway around so they can watch you select the tip amount. Even on pick up orders, there's no privacy to make a tip decision, so the guilt tax is...

I have to say I can't say enough about the incredible experience I had. From the moment I called in our order, I was hopeful this place was going to be great because the woman on the phone answered pleasantly and was very kind. As soon as we pulled up to the establishment you just know the pizza is going to be good because the pizza aroma hits you as soon as you get out of your car. All employees were extremely kind and joyful. The pizza tasted great! I'm from the East Coast and I have been desperately searching for a good pizza place around here and I have finally found my answer! My husband also comment that the garlic bread was excellent. We can't wait to order and eat from The Village...
