We were on a road trip and we arrived later to the store. It was a half hour before closing, and the lady behind the counter announced that in 10 minutes, they would no longer be opening any cases to sell any items. Well, when she did that it was 4:35 PM so 10 minutes would mean that she would no longer be opening cases at 4:45 PM so we rushed through the store looking at stuffâŠI find a case of some things that I want opened. I go to the front desk and ask her and she says Iâm sorry weâre no longer opening cases and I said well you said 10 minutes ago at 4:35 PM that you were going to stop opening cases in ten minutes that means thatâs 4:45 PM and itâs not 4:45 PM yet. So she apologizes and tells me that sheâs not opening any cases. so everything I had in my hand I put down on the counter and I started to leave. She then starts to complain to the customers that sheâs ringing up at the counter about me, so I turned around and I said to her maâam, you said at 4:45 you were going to end it and then you changed your mindâŠ..I said thatâs not good for business and it dishonest . Needless to say I was going to drop well over $150 at the store but ended up not doing it because she wasnât going to do what she said she was going to do so in the end we walked out of the store, not...
Read morePerhaps the worst antique mall in Michigan, from when we first walked in to this place we were confronted with the horrible smell of mildew. After checking some booths, we noticed the prices here are more than double what they are at other antique malls. The last straw here came when I was in the very back aisle and had to walk all the way to the front of the store for someone to open a glass case with a key. I had forgotten the booth number and when I told them I needed someone to open a case, they were very rude. On top of the rudeness they told me to walk all the back to the booth get the number, walk to the front again to tell them itâs number, then walk all the way back again to tell them what I needed. It wasnât worth it so we put all our stuff back. A friend of ours was continuing with their purchase and when she asked the people behind the counter a question they blatantly ignored her. She repeated louder and louder and was still ignored. This is not a business worth spending your hard earned cash at. In fact, you will be asked to run across the store multiple times, ignored, and only met with rudeness. Will not ever be coming back here, and I do not recommend this place for anyone of...
Read moreI shop at antique malls in five different states, this is the only one where they have to write up an invoice for every single dealer you buy from. Very frustrating because I bought from about six different places, and it took forever to write up my order! Good thing it wasnât a weekend or I wouldâve been standing in line forever! Iâve never had such a long check out an antique mall.
What I thought was very strange is this has an amazing big sign by the road, then a truck with a sign on it. However, you pull into the parking lot and itâs a big long red building and thereâs no antique sign on the building, thereâs no antiques outside, you kind of wonder if youâre in the wrong place. If I was a dealer here, I would want a big antique mall sign on the building itself. I think that would really help stated this is an...
