Parrilla Express — Restaurant in Berwyn

I noticed that the people who gave this place 1 star needs to smack themselves. There is no way this place gets 1 star. Anything you put on a grill taste good. You could put a shoe and some dirty socks on the grill and it will taste good. Lol. People stop whining. Take a chill pill. Your reviews makes it hard for this wonderful owner and his family to get new clients. So stop being a big baby. Lol. Its not simple to grill food. Good food takes sweet time to cook, dont you think? You want your food fast? Go to McDonald's and I'm sure you'll enjoy your Big Mac. Look all jokes aside. The owner is one of the coolest people I've ever met. Yeah, nothing is perfect. I'm sure your life isnt perfect also. The owner even plays soft peaceful music for his costumers. Its not easy running a business. Give the owner a break. This is grilled food! In reality Grilled food should be eaten fresh off the grill. Are we really that annoying in this generation that some people said "I ordered through Grub Hub and......blah blah blah...". Think about that for a second 🤔.... GRUB HUB!!!!! If my father was still alive he'd smack someone for even saying the word "Grub Hub". Lol. My Father never liked Stupidity... I will say one last thing.... I'm writing this here as Im sitting at the restaurant... The kindness of the owner made my food taste better... I wish them well... Five Golden...

Omg awesome food... Me and my husband were driving past when I saw pictures of 4 of their gourmet burgers in their window..I said look honey they have a burger with shrimp and pineapple..since we were sitting at the stop light we had time to look and hold a discussion...soooo... We both decided we had to stop in... We ordered the Maria and the Hawaiian Burger.....they came with home cut fries....OMG... When I say these were the most amazing burgers annnnnnd fries we've ever had.... Who would've thought a Mexican restaurant would be serving such amazing gourmet burgers...we are so glad we decided to give them a try.....Parilla Express is another restaurant on our favorites list...we will definitely visit this little gem again...My personal favorite was the Hawaiian Burger it came with these delicious seasoned and grilled shrimp, a pineapple slice, BACON, onion and hawaiian sauce .... OMG freaking amazing..sorry no pics those burgers didn't have a chance.😆..This little diamond in the ruff was nice and clean, the customer service awesome..they have an open kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared.......I wish I would have got a second Hawaiian Burger to go cause I'm hungry for another!!!! This is a MUST TRY..just amazing my husband let one of the employees know how much we loved our food before we left....just amazing.... everything was so fresh...and...

Just came from having lunch there and was sadly disappointed in the food and the quality of the owner's customer service. We had the steak parrilla. The server started us with some complimentary soup and when asked he told us that the steak platter came with 1/4 chicken, skirt steak, garlic bread, salad, rice, beans, and on the menu it said it came with avocado. It sounded large enough for two to share. The steak was a lot so familiar city of skirt steak and the 1/4 chicken was so puny that it was more like quail-size.

When I casually asked the owner/cook (at least from what I perceived) about the avocado, he said that he gave us chicken instead. I started that the menu indicated that it came with avocado (as I was clearly looking at two avocados in the prep area)and that the server told us that the platter came with the chicken. He responded that he told the server to tell us that he was substituting the avocado for the chicken because there wasn't anymore avocado. I looked at him with skeptcism and surprise and then he walked away and covered up the avocado. Just can't trust that. Not interested in...
