My wife and I have made Colombino Coffee our sacred Sunday stop after church, and it’s become the highlight of our weekend. This little gem of a coffee shop wraps you in warmth the moment you walk in think rich, earthy vibes and the irresistible aroma of freshly roasted Colombian beans. It’s not just a place to grab a cup, it’s an experience that feels like a mini getaway.
The coffee? Pure magic. They source it straight from Colombia, and you can taste the care in every sip smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. My wife swears by their farmers lattes, while I’m hooked on the Americano’s that’s so good it doesn’t need a thing added. Pair that with one of their homemade empanadas or a warm, flaky pastry, and it’s heaven on a plate.
What really sets Colombino apart, though, is the vibe. The staff greet us like old friends, and there’s this cozy, unhurried feel that makes us linger longer than we plan. Especially Esteban he’s the greatest. Always going above and beyond for whatever we need. It’s our little post-church ritual now: sipping, chatting, and soaking in the calm before the week kicks off. Colombino Coffee isn’t just a coffee shop it’s our Sunday sanctuary. Can’t...
Read moreI ordered 2 hazelnut lattes one for me and one for a friend, both were terrible. Mine tasted like it had a bunch of cinnamon in it which makes me think that one of the teenagers working there didn’t at least rinse out the equipment from the last drink that was made, and the other had so much chopped hazelnut in it that my friend thought he just gulped a mouthful of coffee grinds. I thought it was going to be hazelnut flavor, not minced hazelnut added to the coffees. Personally can’t think of anyone I know that would like a bunch of minced nuts added to their morning drinks….maybe I’m wrong, maybe people do like that, but both coffees that I ordered today were just disappointing for me and my friend. So much so that I felt like reviewing the store and giving my 2 cents. The only reason I’m not going 1 star is because the employees were nice. I just wish that I had tasted the coffee before I left so I could have gotten a refund...
Read moreWhat a lovely surprise here in South Hills. I am rarely here and mostly for work; I searched for a cafe on Google and chose Colombino Coffee and I am very pleased. First of all the place is original, quirky, very nice, cozy, and clean. The barista welcomed me with a big smile and she was very friendly and her cappuccino is hands down the best I've had in Pittsburgh and surroundings. I love the lid with the stopper. They have a kitchen and some pastries on display. They also sell granola bars, chips, coffee and other goodies. I was here on a Thursday around 11:30 and there was only one more person working. If I lived here I'd definitely be working here too. The cafe has a parking lot shared with the other businesses so I doubt parking is ever a problem. Absolutely...
