A horribly rude, disrespectful & extremely poor experience with Monday night manager Marie. Not only does she lack communication skills, but she lacks decorum with her job - I have no idea how someone could be in a position of management with such lack of skills.
I had an issue checking out on the tablets (which moving forward I will never use again) and she refused to let me use my rewards. When I told her I use them all the time , her excuse was that there's nothing that she can do with the tablet and that I was wrong . I can quite literally furnish receipts that I use my dining rewards with the specials that they have at the restaurant and I've never had a problem before. The tablet froze in the middle of the transaction and it also double charged my card slightly under six dollars which I will now be disputing with the bank because of the principle of the matter.
I come to outback often and I come to this particular location often and I was just floored on how rude I was treated by her. She offered no help. She offered no insight- just told me that I can't apply my rewards and figure it out. She also refused to give me her name when I asked, and I had to call later and speak to one of the hosts to retrieve it. I was very clear that she was not interested in working that evening or ensuring that customers have a consistent and delightful experience.
Why I was treated with such rudeness and lack of etiquette from Management??? - especially when I come often as outback is my son's favorite restaurant.
And since there is not another outback near , I most likely will now take my business to Texas roadhouse, which is less than a quarter of a mile from this location of outback. I refuse to go back to someplace that treats repeat customers with a nasty tone &...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Outback's consistency on cook and service runs hot and cold for me. Prior to about 5 years ago it was consistently great service and meal preparation. Lately, it is 50/50 and there are more consistent steak options in the area. We tried again in 2019 and the first service and meal was very good. You might ask how could they botch a salad. Look no further than our one and only visit in early 2018 for the answer: almost no dressing, all stalks with very few green leaves on the romaine and to top it off literally shrimp that was barely cooked and still clear. I will try a couple more times to make sure the consistency has returned before adding a star.
4/6/2019: This marks the third meal where both cook and service were consistent. I improved to 4 stars and Outback is back in our normal rotation of places to dine out.
8/16/2019: Another great meal. Our server Chris was outstanding. Made the visit wonderful with his attentiveness. Thanks.
10/4/2019: Tried the crispy shrimp and lobster appetizer tonight. It was very good and quite spicy.
8/28/2021: Much improved. We have been coming back regularly and the food and service has been consistently good.
2024: Tried again and the food was quite good. We will start going again regularly. Allie was a very attentive waitress. The new Brussel Sprouts side was great. The peppers are spicy š„ though as they still had the seeds attached. They were good, just an unexpected kick of spice.

My husband and I went there today for lunch, arriving at 12:30. Husband is on crutches with a broken ankle. The greeter apparently planned to seat us in the far back reaches of the restaurant, way too far for my poor guy to hobble. I stopped him and secured a booth near the entry door.
The server appeared promptly and took our drinks order, then came back in due time for the food order but without drinks. Took the food order, brought the appetizer, had to be reminded that we'd love our drinks now, please. Wine and beer arrived, she cleared the appetizer plates, and now we waited for our main dishes. And waited, and WAITED. As did two other tables near us. Conversations ensued between our tables about the poor service.
We finally requested to speak to a manager who showed up a while later with our food. We expressed our unhappiness with the very long wait -- 30 minutes since the server cleared the appetizer dishes! He offered to put our food in containers for take-away. Um . . . sashimi tuna on greens sitting in a Styrofoam container in the car while we finish our afternoon is not my idea of edible food. He offered us gift certificates. No thank you, we're not coming back here. His explanation for the unreasonable delays was new operating hours what with being open for lunch at 11 AM. Apparently the entire staff is still asleep at that time.
