United Electric Supply — Local services in Bethlehem Township

I was on the way home from Home Depot after buying what they recommended to install a 220v breaker and outlet for a power tool. It seemed quite straight-forward, according to them. They handed me everything that I would need and I was on my way, a bit shell-shocked by the cost however. I texted a couple of friends from the Home Depot parking lot to ask if they knew of an electrical supply near me (I was on my bicycle) and they both recommended United Electric Supply. It was on my way home.

I told "Kevin" at the counter what I wanted to do. He asked me a battery of questions. I confessed that I'd already bought everything at Home Depot but they didn't ask me any of the questions that he did. I quickly biked home to get the info from the breaker box and rode back.

It turns out that the HD associate sold me the wrong breaker. Really?! I mean we're not talking garden plants or a window treatment but working with electricity!!

Needless to say, I bought everything I needed at United Electric--for 15 dollars less!! Another Home Depot return...
