Ruby Cafe — Restaurant in Bethlehem

After the quality of food kept declining at our usual Chinese place, we were on the hunt for a new take-out spot. Ruby Cafe did not disappoint! The only downside to this place is that they don't deliver. The service was great and the order process was seamless, I was even informed that I get a free 2 Liter since my order was $50. This is something some Chinese places don't even make you aware of, in hopes you won't ask Since it was a Friday evening, it was quite busy (nothing that calling your order in ahead of time can't fix), and it took a little while to get the order. We checked twice on the status, and one of the employees, a woman, checked each time with a smile on her face and then politely informed me of the status. We had Shrimp Fried Rice, Plain LoMein, Bone-in Spare Ribs, Crab Rangoon, and Szechuan Triple Delight. Let me just say, that this has been some of the best American Chinese food I had in a while. The only someone negative is that I didn't like the Crab Rangoon. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, just did not like their spin on it. There are a couple of tables available for indoor seating, but it's nothing fancy. I would say it's your typical Chinese delivery and take-out seating and atmosphere. I'm so happy I took a coworker's recommendation & tried this place because it was awesome!! I ordered on a Sunday around 6:30 p.m. You can place your order online & pay when you pick up. The online ordering is a HUGE plus in my eyes. It just makes everything so much easier. When I went to pick up my order, it was already ready for me. I was greeted by two different employees. The lobby was very clean & the temperature was perfect. It didn't smell of heavy grease or anything actually. No need to worry about your clothes smelling after you leave. Our order was 110% accurate. I haven't found a place that has GOOD crispy noodles, until I tried them from here. They weren't stale and were definitely crispy! I highly recommend this...

This is my usual neighborhood go to place for ordering for work lunches. Their large sharing portions are huge. I havent ordered a lunch special in a while but last time I remebered no issue. I usually place a big Teacher appreciation order annually and they have it ready for me the next day nice and hot a few minutes after they open at 11. We like the mei fun with shrimp, general tso and sesame chicken. Some of the chicken could be crispier sometimes but overall great neighborhood staple take out place.
