I took my family to this location today, and we attempted to place our order with an employee named Bambi. My wife wanted to order a parmesan chicken caesar salad, but substitute the grilled chicken with crispy chicken. She had ordered this salad this way hundreds of times, but today "Bambi" told my wife that she could not do this. The employee was adamant about this. This is the only item that my wife eats from Wendy's, so she was upset and needed a minute to rethink her order. I went over to the kiosk screen and was able to order a crispy chicken sandwich, just the meat, and the salad without the grilled chicken. It was $5 more, but I wanted my wife to be happy. I am upset that this employee refused to help us with this substitution. When we did get our order, my wife's salad had a lot of wilted lettuce in it. Also, the soda machine was broken and the napkin dispensers were both completely out of napkins, requiring me to go back to the counter a second time. I am feel that this location has been getting worse over the years. They continously lock the doors and refuse to allow people to dine in. This has happened several times in the past few months, even though COVID has been over for a long time. I used to like eating at this Wendy's, but I don't think we will be...
Read moreThe place has a new kiosk. I placed an order and it gave me the option to pay cash. Jessie had a little attitude when she noticed someone paid cash, and said " I don't know who hit cash but we don't take cash". I said that was me because I left my card in the car. She walked away saying "that's why it's posted on the doors!" Well a customer held the door open for me so I didn't get to see it. I went to my car and retrieved my card. Went inside to Jessie to ask how to pay for my order. She became angry again and showed me her screen, again and didn't even answer my question. I explained to her I have worked in the restaurant business as a manager for years and I felt She was being very rude. She again stated they can't take cash, and I explained I got it. I wanted to know how to pay for the order so I don't messed up the kitchen. She finally explained I had to place a new order. I explained to her she didn't need to be so rude about it. And she told me she had to get back to work and walked away!! I have never in my life been treated so rude and disrespected. It is a NEW system! How about explained kindly to customers how to use it instead of being defensive and saying things under your...
Read moreHello,
It's currently 10:16 PM on 9/29/2024, and I just returned home after an incredibly disappointing visit to Wendy's, right after hitting Walmart. Honestly, saying I’m disappointed feels like an understatement; I'm genuinely upset.
I pulled into the drive-thru at 9:56 PM, having checked their hours, which state they close at 11. This means they should have plenty of time to prepare a simple sandwich. I even asked for pickles—yet, surprise, they were missing.
Then, I was met by an employee who looked about 50 and seemed to embody the spirit of someone who has long since given up. He honestly reminded me of Doctor Eggman from sonic. He started yelling at me, “We’re trying to close!” as if I should care about his urgency. Here’s the thing: if you close at 11 PM, you’re not about to close an hour early.
I work in food service too, and I understand the demands. But if he’s so eager to escape his job making $14.50 an hour, perhaps it’s time to reconsider his choices instead of taking it out on customers. A little professionalism and kindness wouldn’t hurt, would it?
I just wanted my pickles to...
