Its pretty good - bunch of minor things kind of derail the experience.
No prices on the menu - they're not outrageous, but would be nice to know what to expect. Two pizzas and breadsticks were $33... Original crust is traven style - flat &flaky - but then THICK crust is two of them stacked. And Pan/deep dish is seemingly 3 of them. The crust is flavorless - would benefit by infusing it with flavor; either with olive oil, or toss in garlic/oregano(assuming its house made, and not bought frozen).
Said 45mins for the pan crust - come in a touch late; and still waited 20more mins.. During that wait, watched 1 staff handle the dinning room & register for carry out. Its too much for 1 person - diners waiting for their orders to be taken. Hostess gone for minutes getting drinks. Spent alot of time at a big table, vs being able to help 3 other smaller ones. Tip chasing.. Empower the staff to ask for help from teammates, or others to be confident to switch tasks for a minute.
After it gets cold, the cheese is soo thick, it becomes like modeling resin/rubber. And loses all its flavor/appeal.
I want to go back and try the pastas, but no one else in the house cares to give em...
Read moreI grew up on Pizza Factory at the old Monticello location, so I have fond memories of their excellent pizza. Also there prices honestly are exceptionally low, even with delivery.
On the bad side though, the service is a bit lacking. My delivery times are really inconsistent, pick up times are often poorly quoted and has resulted in big lines at the location, and honestly the menu is just extremely limited. Dining in often resulted in one server being stuck trying to care for a full dining room and (understandably on the servers part) falling far behind and loosing track of their too many tables to juggle. Lastly, not opening till 4 during the week puts out any lunch plans.
Overall, when Pizza Factory is on, they're the best value and a good product, so if you're tight in the wallet or not on a schedule hit them during off peak hours and they can be an excellent choice. However, If you want to branch out into sides, pastas or sandwiches and looking for a little higher service (delivery or dine in), I would look into...
Read moreSo disappointing. First and last time ever visiting this place. We ordered breadsticks and pizzas. We waited over an hour for our pizzas. Pizzas were delivered to our table which was somebody else’s order. After leaving the pizzas at our table for several minutes the server returned and apologized for the mistake then picked them up from our table and delivered them to the correct table (this table came in a good 15 minutes after us). We were told our pizzas would be out in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later we asked for an update. After 20 minutes we were told our pizzas were not being made but if we would like to wait they would put them in the oven right away. We declined and attempted to walk out. As we were walking out they declared we still owe for the breadsticks. Rightfully so? Thank Pizza Factory, I enjoyed sitting in your establishment for well over an hour for $2.95...
