Normally I wouldn’t provide a 1 star rating considering everyone is short staffed and struggling with material shortages but from a customer service and business stand point I’m very disappointed in my experience at this location. I Arrived and sat at the drive through intercom to order, a few minutes went by so I said hello and they then asked for my order. I Ordered a mister freeze and was told the slushy machine is down. Not a big deal so I ordered a small blizzard with Heath and cookie dough. They asked I would like round up to the nearest dollar for charity. I said absolutely. Go to pay and the employee said it will be 10 dollars so I asked if she charged me for the freeze and blizzard because I didn’t think a small blizzard cost 10 dollars. She said she didn’t but she charged me for 2 small blizzards. She said she would talk to her manager. After paying for the correct amount (still rounded up to donate to their charity) for 1 blizzard she hands me a blizzard that is melted with ice cream running down the sides and she didn’t flip it upside down. So I asked, did you make two separate blizzards one cookie dough and one Heath then just scoop some out of one and mix them together? She said yes because my manager didn’t want to waste ice cream. I said that seems like an odd way of doing it but thank you for being honest about it. I asked for a new one to be made only because it was melted and there was Ice cream running down the sides. She said she would ask her manager. Let me remind you, I’m sitting at the drive through watching them do all this through the window. The manager grabs the same one off the counter, wipes off the sides of the cup, then hands me it and says here is your new one. I asked if she made a new one and she said yes. I told her you shouldn’t lie to customers. I tipped the cup in front of her and soupy ice creams came pouring out. She refused to make a new one. Not a single sorry for the multiple mistakes or length of time were made and Being lied to as a customer isn’t the best business practice. I wasn’t trying to be a pain, just wanted a freshly made blizzard that was melted and...
Read moreI went through the drive thru today (8/7) at 2:48pm and asked the order taker if I could get a small Royal Rocky Road blizzard WITHOUT brownie pieces due to me having celiac disease (meaning I cannot have gluten). The order taker said “Yes”. When I opened up my blizzard at home, I found brownie pieces in it. After that, I called TWICE and the first time, a woman picked up and kept asking “Hello?” despite me talking and trying to tell her what happened before hanging up on me. I called again and I told the same woman what happened. After I was done telling her, she said, “The ice cream has gluten in it.” Never have I heard of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry) having gluten in it within the past 10 years of me having celiac disease. There are toppings that have gluten, but not the actual ice cream itself. After I repeated her answer with, “The ice cream has gluten in it?” The woman said, “Yes, the ice cream has sugar in it.” By then, I was very confused because sugar has absolutely NOTHING to do with celiac disease! The woman then said that I could go through the drive thru again but I told her I was already at home. She said, “Okay.” then hung up on me.
Normally I am fine with this location because I order a Reese’s PB Cup blizzard, but this time I figured I’d see if I could order a different blizzard without the gluten rather than ordering the same thing over and over and over again due to the limited g-free options.
I wish there were more gluten free blizzard options besides the candy ones because those get repetitive after awhile. I am just displeased with the brownie pieces incident along with how the woman answered on the phone because she was not...
Read moreMy son had an interview here. I came inside because it was rather hot while waiting.i decided to go inside. And I also wanted to order Ice cream. Entered in wasn't greeted there was a young lady at the front of the store behind the counter and another younger guy. I proceeded to the the front to order and stood by the counter. I waited 5 minutes to be greeted and nothing I heard but crickets. The young lady looked back at me and turned back around and continued to make the blizzard. The guy never approached me to try and help me. So, I spoke out and stated Hello Id like to order a small ice cream. Still she didn't say hello in return. I said to her I had watched her turn around look at me and still not ask if she could help me. And she said that's because I was making blizzards. I emailed the supervisor and she never replied to my email. Of course she didn't. This location is not diverse that I could see with my own eyes. Of course she discluded my son and he didn't get hired after she rescheduled his interview last minute and he even still decided to continue to interview with her. I pray this store gets use to being more diverse and teaches professional professional no matter the race...
