Classic Donuts — Restaurant in Big Sandy

Maybe I went on the wrong morning but the little lady that works there was extremely rude when I was trying to simply ask her for chocolate covered donuts and all I said was not the chocolate cake donuts but the chocolate covered donuts and she quickly cut me off saying I know what you're talkin about we don't even sell chocolate cake donuts. then to add insult to injury the two donuts that I ordered were seemingly soaked in grease. I was very very very very disappointed and I went to call the establishment after I got home to let her know just how much I did not appreciate her being rude to me and also to let her know that their donuts sucked. But to my surprise there was not even a phone number listed on Google. I live in Big Sandy and have gone to that establishment many times throughout the years but I must say that the donuts there currently are of poor quality I absolutely could not believe how greasy those donuts were as they were only fit to throw out to my dog. They were busy when I came in but the owner is so kind and sweet! I've been coming here for donuts for a while now and she made me the prettiest strawberry and lemon glazed donuts I've ever seen! The owners are so thoughtful and the donuts and kolaches are delicious, they have a great selection of drinks for your morning pick me up and fresh black coffee. I like to get a big box once a week to take home for the family, my dad loves the glazed donuts and the Kolaches! It's a small place but I can't recommend...

I pulled in with my daughter at 6 a.m. As we began to order a cat walked around from the edge of the counter & walked across the disposable tray the donut holes were laying on. I was speechless.
