Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Big Stone Gap

If you're looking for a comfortable & friendly environment, you've found it. This place is prefect for families of all kind. Take mine for example: I have two young children that I love dearly but I failed at parenting. You see, it killed them when their father left n they never heard from again. I couldn't take back the pain he caused but I longed to see them as the happily children they once were. Therefore along with many other attempts, I refused to punish them no matter what they did. Regretfully, here we are 2 years later and they pretty much run my life. I never properly corrected their behavior cause I lived in fear of hurting them. I'm sure you can somewhat imagine what I go through daily. Know this, it's much worse when we go out.

This Pizza Plus is amazing and my hat's off to them because when my kids act up I don't get embarrassed or feel like we need to leave. Instead, people don't gawk at us, no one points their finger whispering to one another, they don't laugh, or judge us in any way. I've actually had people see my struggle, walk towards my table and offer their help!♡♡♡ Do you know how good that feels? I also love their prices! It's just all-around a perfect place to eat. Especially for low income families such as my own. I only wish I could visit them more often.

Now, I hate to even mention this but since this is a review to help others and I think could help them cause they may not realize this. Plus if I'm right it could be easily fixed! Therefore I will say there have been a few times where minor mistakes were made BUT oddly that's only happened when I called them to order. So it's possible that there's something wrong with the phone on their end?🤔 They really should look in to this.

♡Throughout the past several years they've been jyst plain great!!!♡ Regardless of what did or didn't happen, they have always made things right by me and that's what I call a good business and dann good people. Especially the manager. His name is Nick and y'all he's so awesome!!! He's got no idea how much I love him, his personality, the way he works so hard and yet never complains, and I enjoy most how he's always so happy and fun to be around.

EXTREMELY...

If I could give it a zero I would. We were camping locally and have been to Pizza Plus back home. However, I was unfamiliar with their crust types, and since they listed pan or thin on the website I asked if the thin crust was crunchy or more like a Little Ceasars crust. The person taking the order was impatient and simply said, "I don't know." We were in a bind and didn't know the area, so our pizza choices were limited. I ordered 3 pan large cheese pizzas. When I picked them up, the staff was not sure at first that I'd placed an order, but then one employee realized they had taken down my name wrong. I asked if they offered military discounts, as my husband had been given a military discount at our home location. They said no. So, I paid around $40.00 for 3 cheese pizzas. When I opened the 1st box, the crust on 1/3 of the pizza was missing. It actually looked like they ran out of dough. Also, the pizzas were lukewarm, greasy, and the crust certainly didn't look like a "pan" crust. We were not impressed and most likely will find another place to buy pizza if we travel that way again. I could have gotten Little Ceasars for half the price, and a little...

Usually pretty decent food. To their defense, this order was placed at almost 10pm. However, if you don't think you can do it correctly, pleas let the paying customer know. Noodles were hard and no broccoli. Just a little chicken in the bottom of it. I could have gone home and whipped up something better in short amount of time. Disappointed this go around. Should be Chicken Alfredo. Overpriced noodles with sauce. Also no marinara with the garlic bread we ordered....
