I genuinely believe that if there were an award for the worst Chipotle location, this one would be a strong contender. Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short in several key areas. The cleanliness is consistently subpar, the staff seems disorganized, and the food preparation is often chaotic. On a recent visit, I witnessed a child eagerly anticipating their meal, only to be disappointed when the food was being placed into mismatched containers due to the disarray behind the counter. Out of the 6 people, one individual was making the bowls, while two others were “prepping to go orders” but in reality were cracking jokes, and the cashier just sat back and didn’t offer any help even though the line was multiple people long. Not to mention, the cashier had one job to do, cash out and grab chips, while they stood there not helping their coworkers, and they still forgot to give us chips with our order.
Additionally, the back area, where food is prepared, was visibly unclean, with the floors in particular needing attention. Dirty gloves thrown on the floor, towels that were on the floor being used to clean the same surface areas that the food was falling onto.
Staffing and management also appear to be a concern. Instead of helping reduce the long lines, I observed cashiers standing idle, while other staff members were visibly overwhelmed. It’s unclear whether there is an on-site manager, but this location could certainly benefit from stronger leadership to ensure smoother operations. Over the course of several years, I’ve visited this location multiple times, and unfortunately, the issues have remained consistent. Even with potential staffing shortages, it’s essential for team members to demonstrate teamwork and urgency, rather than allowing certain individuals to stand by while others are clearly working hard.
Ultimately, I believe this location has potential, but it will need significant improvements in both cleanliness and management to meet the standard expected from a Chipotle restaurant. If these issues aren’t addressed soon, I worry that the restaurant’s reputation may suffer long-term consequences. I sincerely hope there are efforts to improve the operations here, as it could truly become a better experience for both staff and...
Read moreRead morei figured i’d make it known that this place has terrible employees. September 10, around 430/450 I went to this place and ordered some food. i think what i’m most upset about is how this “manager” handled this situation. it was the most disrespectful, definitely NOT someone who delivers customer service or LEADERSHIP. all i wanted was ice, ha! she seemed frustrated with all her orders in the third party area which i understand, i also run a pizza shop. I am also a manager, but the fact that this girl, was so rude, decided to THROW the cup of ice at me because i simply said— and nicely, that if the ice machine was stocked up, then no one would be coming to her asking for ice, seeing that she got mad that 3 of us needed ice. “so do all of you need ice?” with an attitude! (way before she tossed the cup at me) then told me “say it again” and i did because i figured she didn’t hear me but that’s when i seen her giving me attitude and this aggression towards me, and she threw it! now, im not one to get out of character, especially in a public setting where everyone enjoys food & i just know myself better to not be that type of person. it was totally out of hand. i can’t even begin to comprehend why the hell this girl of a manager do something like that because she got told about her job duties could’ve been done? there was a line, i saved half of everyone asking her for ice! she probably would’ve lost it with another person! i was in no rush, i see that there wasn’t a lot of staff, i UNDERSTND! so i truly feel this “manager” deserves some type of consequence, for her actions. she is honestly lucky i didn’t mop her head on the counter, i seriously think she isn’t a fit manager or can handle a busy evening. i run pizza shop alone and just understand what comes with it so i truly think this girl needs some training again. Customer Service was TERRIBLE, * except for the girl who did my food, she was amazing**. Anyways, this might not even get to a higher up or taken in a serious matter. I will never come back here again, and if i do, i hope that this little girl has gotten better at her services. She should honestly quit, she doesn’t even seem to love her job....
I actually used to work at this location. I paid a visit recently and nothing has changed, and sadly, none of the negative reviews are exaggerations. I keep getting emails asking for feedback about my work experience there, so I will put them here. I think Chipotle as a brand is amazing with great benefits. But that means nothing when management seems negligent and oblivious to the needs of their staff. When you care about your team, you care about how they are treated from the time they apply. This company lacks investing in the DEVELOPMENT of their workers rather than just filling a spot because that person checks off all the procedural boxes. That process includes weeding out abusive, negligent and power-hungry management. The store manager means well—I think. But a few managers at that location are simply unfit and have, in my opinion, overstayed their time. Why they are still there is quite mind-blowing. That’s why the negative comments aren’t surprising; if you carry issues in your life into your workspace, your colleagues pay an undeserved price and it seamlessly translate over into how you serve your community. As the old saying goes: The fish stinks from the head downward. It’s only a matter of time. I’m sure that if the community petitioned about this location, proper action would be...
