We came in the other day because we were so excited to see that there was a whole bakery here dedicated to making gluten-free sweets, bread, etc (we’re visiting Billings 🙃). the younger gentleman in there was very nice and helpful but as soon as he went back to make our pizzas we got stuck with this younger girl who was extremely rude and pushy for us to pick out items. When she picked up the doughnut with wax paper she just put the wax paper directly on the counter!!!!! I’m sorry but that is disgusting, especially with Covid + money going across the counter and things just getting set on there period. When we got back to the hotel, we had are pizzas they were good! But once we got to the sugar cookies….. they were STALE!!!!!! And completely inedible. The next day when we were going to have our breakfast, we were quite nervous to try since the cookies were terrible. My sister said her doughnut was okay, nothing fantastic. My blueberry scone kind of tasted bland couldn’t really taste the blueberry’s. My mom and dad said the rolls where good. But all and all for the price you have to pay for these sweets, they weren’t all that great.
Update: We understand that gluten free products can be an acquired taste as we have been doing gluten free since 2012 when a family member was diagnosed with Celiac disease. We had to learn to cook all over again with many flops along the way. Please know that we have tried it all but the after taste on the cookies was that of rancid...
Read moreDelicious. Heart warming. Celiac Friendly. Those are the words that come to my mind when trying to describe Rae Raes Bakery. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease 6 years ago and being from Casper Wy, we don't have ANY all gluten free bakeries at all. I was beyond excited when I saw this place on Find me gluten free app. I was even more pleased when I walked in yesterday and inquired if everything really is gluten free. I was greeted pleasantly by one of the owners (the husband), who told me how his wife and daughter have Celiac and how serious they take their facility being gluten free. I was equally excited when I saw all of the delicious goodies they have. I have literally not had a donut in 6 years!! And the chocolate donut they had was DELICIOUS. I also had the cinnamon roll, with a side of the drippings and put that on top of my cinnamon roll when I got home. I was instantly brought back to my childhood. The lemon poppy seed scone was the other item I had and I shared that with my boys, and they absolutely loved it as much as I did. I know this review is long, but I really want to say how thankful I am for finding this place and how I am more than satisfied for finding delicious homemade baked goods. We will definitely be finding an excuse to come back to Billings just to come to this Bakery. Keep doing what you guys...
Read moreFirst of all I can’t say enough about the birthday cake and the DAIRYFREE frosting, so good! I also Highly recommend the blueberry lemon and the rosemary cupcakes, both were delicious! But the most outstanding thing was the service we received. They definitely went above and beyond. We were traveling through Billings for vacation and weren’t set to arrive until after their closing time. They were so accommodating and allowed us to pick up our order (which was for my daughters birthday celebration) after normal business hours. I don’t know what I would have done without the understanding of this bakery and their employees, especially Sara, thank you for your communication and coordination. If we are ever back in Billings, we will for...
