After seeing Redneck Pizza & Chicken’s solid 4.3-star rating with over 130 reviews, we were excited to give it a try. Many people spoke highly of the quality and the busy atmosphere, which usually signals a great spot. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match those expectations.
On the bright side, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The place has a welcoming, family-run vibe, which I always appreciate as a small business owner myself. Supporting local businesses is important to me, and I was really hoping this would be a new favorite.
However, the food left us feeling disappointed. We ordered nachos, a basket of fries, chicken fingers, and a large pepperoni/supreme pizza. Unfortunately, everything, including the pizza crust, tasted like something you’d pick off the shelf at a grocery store—synthetic and made with low-cost ingredients. We only had a few bites of each item before deciding to eat at home instead. The quality reminded me of what you might find at a high school football game snack shack, which wasn’t what we were hoping for.
Considering the positive reviews from others, I’m hoping this was just an off day or perhaps a difference in taste preferences. With some focus on improving ingredient quality, I believe Redneck Pizza & Chicken could live up to its...
Read moreThis is my second time ordering from here. Was underwhelmed the first time, gave it a second chance, and was again not impressed… I wanted so badly to like this more than chain pizza and be able to order from here! I like to customize my pizza, so love that I can order online and it doesn’t get lost in translation by a phone call. The food was pretty mediocre. Ordered cheese sticks, a small pizza and a personal pizza. The cheese bread was WAY too much bread. I ended up just pulling the cheese off top and eating that. The pizza was decent, just lacked something in the crust flavor and the ranch was meh. The thing that turned me off the most from this place was the service. I stood at the counter and they had a sign saying they were busy and to ring a bell…. But as I’m reading the sign at the counter a man walked by 2-3 times and definitely saw me, and completely ignored me… I figured maybe he was the dishwasher or someone that wouldn’t greet customers. So I rang the annoying bell and the same guy came over and asked me what I needed. It was close to closing so I’m assuming he was ignoring me because he didn’t want me to be a walk in customer trying to order food. But I had a pick up order so the whole interaction was weird. Also, the sign says they’re “busy coking in the back” so they...
Read moreSo glad I tried this place out! The best local pizza joint in Billings hands down. I tried one of the specialty pizzas called "Bubba's Loaded Spud Pizza" (Garlic Parmesan Sauce w/cracked pepper, sliced potatoes, bacon, onions, special cheese blend & cheddar cheese). I had never had sliced potato on a pizza before and wasn't sure if i was going to like it but i had to try it, and I loved it! To be honest, I think it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Great crust. Crispy on the edges and bottom, soft and chewy on top (chewy not to confused with doughy) not too thick and not too thin. Quality ingredients and well balanced allowing for the flavors of everything on the pizza to come through with out one flavor overpowering another. Tried the fried mac and cheese wedges and they were also excellent. Went with the option to carry out. Restaurant was very clean and the the young woman behind the counter by the name of Porter was very attentive, friendly, and professional. She genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. I will definitely be back to try out more of their pizza combinations and determine if they also have the best...
