New breakfast spot inside the American Legion clubhouse in Birch Bay. Cool use of the space with woodwork and nice décor. Menu’s priced right, and the food came out hot and tasty.
I’m picky about breakfast (I cook better than most places), but the cook here knows what they’re doing. Eggs Benedict were spot on—light hollandaise, eggs just right. Hash browns had a soft center without being burnt. My friend had the classic breakfast—also excellent. Coffee was good too, hot and smooth without the bitter taste you get at a lot of places.
