Captain D's — Restaurant in Birmingham

This is my 3rd time attempting to eat at Captain D's in the last 3 weeks and being refused service. This particular time I arrived at 9:06 pm and was asked on the drive through speaker if I was paying with cash or card. I told him card and he said that they're only taking cash. (This is the same excuse they gave me the last 2 visits). Does the card machine only shut down on night shift? I had cash ready so I told him that I would pay in cash and he told me that they didn't have any fish. I understand running out of food close to closing time but they advertise that they do not close until 10. I pulled up to the drive through window and asked to speak to the manager and the manager also said that they were out of not just fish but ALL food and if I wanted something I had to wait 35 to 40 minutes for fish that takes 5 minutes to cook. (I know because I worked at this same location). This is my last time attempting to spend my money at this establish. Go somewhere else if you are looking for a fast...

The worst location I have ever been to. We got here at 9:30pm. There were two cars in front of us. We didn’t get to the intercom until 9:40. We waited until 9:50 at which time I said “hello” to see if anyone would answer, no luck. I called out again, no answer. I ended up driving around to see attempt to place my order at the window and see if there was a backup at the window, there was one car giving their food back and requesting a refund. I looked the clock, it was 10:00pm, the time the close.

Needless to say, I never got any food or had the opportunity to order. Terrible service. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like that. I don’t live on this side of town and I understand it’s not the best area but customer service and quality of service should be the same across the board. Slowest service ever!!!!!! I'm writing this review as I'm waiting in the drive thru, I've been waiting in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes now!!!! 😡 And then they had to repeat my order 4 times back to me!! I have now wasted my entire lunch time on just sitting in the drive thru line. I will never come back! It's 2/21/18 and at 12:24pm I arrived here, it's now 12:59pm and I'm walking out their door, yes walking out their door! I had to go inside and find out why 15 minutes later, I still haven't received my food! And guess what, it was sitting in the counter so they hand me the bag and now I'm in my car! Ohh! Guess what again my freaking food is cold now! Thanks a lot! My fish is in a million pieces thrown on top of my bread and I'm pretty sure I didn't even get a whole piece of fish! WORST & SLOWEST...
