I have been wanting to try this place since they opened and finally was able to stop by for lunch today. When I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The inside of the restaurant was very clean. I ordered the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, and a roll. Unfortunately, I was not really impressed. The fried chicken was moist, but it did not have a taste or flavor to it. The mashed potatoes were bland and the gravy was watery. The sweet potato casserole was not very sweet and quite bland also. However, the roll was pretty good. It was slightly crispy on the outside and moist and buttery on the inside. I also grabbed one of their slices of pecan pie for dessert. My boyfriend and I both agreed it was not sweet enough and did not really care for that either. I will say the prices are pretty reasonable. I paid around $16 for everything.
