Never go to this dq. Just always go to the one on state street.
Long story short
I had to pay for my blizzard and moolatte and they took my punch card for a free blizzard and gave me a punch card that was punched twice...
**ohh and just to let everyone know I have worked at a dq before. It is NOT a hard job... there was no reason for what happened, other than stupidity.
I went through the drive thru & ordered a small blizzard and a small moolatte. And trust me i spoke loud and clear. (I use to work at a fast food restaurant with a drive through & i know how it suck when you can't understand what people say.) When I got to the window I handed the girl a $20 dollar bill and I said I also have this coupon for a free blizzard. ( one of Thoes punch cards where you buy six blizzards you get one free. Because I go to dairy queen a lot.) She handed me my small blizzard and a sundae... I told her it was not what I ordered and gave it back to her, and then they gave me the moolatte. She gave me back my change and a punch card that was punched twice. I didn't really understand because blizzard punch cards are only for blizzards and they normally don't punch a card for you when you use the card for a free one. I looked at my change as I drove away. ...$12 and some coins... (what the f*.) A small moolatte does not cost over 7 dollars! My blizzard should have been free, and I shouldn't have had to pay for a Sundae that I did not order, because that was their mistake. The drive through line was really long and the chairs were all on top of the tables inside like they were closed. So I just went home. I had to pay for my blizzard and moolatte and they took my punch card for a free blizzard and gave me a punch card that was...
Read moreJust had the WORST experience ever. All because of an employees mother?? (Not sure the relation, but she had left with her in the end) this was the first and the last time I and my family will have ever set foot inside this location. This woman with blue hair purposefully held up the line that had grown to about ten people now... talking smack with the employee behind the counter. The employee then lauding stated “oh I’m going to give you my discount!!” In front of all of us other customer! So does that mean they’re giving out their employee discounts now too??? This woman (customer with the blue hair presumably family of employee) had no mask on and she was coughing all over the front area. I had nicely mentioned that she move aside so everyone else can order. The girl at the counter then moved to make her order. Leaving the front without any one there. Refusing to take any one else order. This customer then proceeded to stare me down and start threatening me. It got to the point where I went to the man who finally came up to take our order. Assuming this was the manager? Really not a very good one because I asked him if he could tell this woman to leave as she was visibly being threatening. And his reasoned was just “oh ok” no apology. Nothing. After taking our order finally he then told the employee to leave with this woman. At least he did that. But way too late. I will never be coming back to this location again. And I will sure to share this experience with everyone I know.
EDIT : been noticing a lot of generic responses to bad reviews. If I get left one as well. I will truly believe that you do not care about what goes down at...
Read moreA friend and I each ordered a large onion ring and then went to the dining area to wait. We sat at one of the few tables that was somewhat clean, which was the cleanest one that we could find. The other tables were dirty, and it appeared that they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The store was not busy, we were the only customers in the store at the time. No excuse for being dirty when you're slow. We waited far too long without hearing anything and decided to go order two large Blizzards to remind them we were still waiting. Only when we ordered the Blizzards did the staff remember our onion rings. They claimed that they thought we had left. Okay, maybe... but why not physically check the dining area or holler out the order?
The service was friendly and prompt to help, but I can only think that there are serious deficiencies in their training, supervision, or both. The dining area was dirty during a slow time and there is no excuse for dirtiness whatsoever. Being the only customers in the place at the time and not getting our orders when ready, not good at all.
The onion rings, despite not being as hot as they should have been, were delicious as usual. The Blizzards were great as usual. No complaints about the food other than not getting the onion rings in a...
