What a great find. First impression is very clean and staff is warm and welcoming. Looks like original tongue and groove in parts, heavy wooden moulding, lots of beveled windows and porch with outdoor seating (not sure abt fall/winter months). We sat in a comfortable booth that also provided privacy with the etched glass partition but the tables would have also been fine. They’re nicely spaced and I’m not sure if that’s because of Covid-19 requirements or not. We started with a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio and the spinach appetizer, great with the roasted tortilla chips. Then a nice, fresh salad with a ‘greens’ substitution they didn’t flinch over and really good dressing. Entree was chicken piccata with angel hair pasta and mixed veg-squash, zucchini, carrot, etc all SO GOOD! The piccata sauce was wonderful, pasta perfectly cooked as were the delicious vegetables. Finished with creme brûlée, just wow. Food is amazing, portions are generous and service impeccable, the perfect balance of non-intrusive but charming and nuanced. Can’t wait to go back. What a great find. Edit 2/9: I was sad to hear about what happened openly and without discretion or consideration of your employees or patrons inside your restaurant the other night. Ugly that the lack of appropriate management was unaware of ongoing petty, underhanded, and bullyish behavior but to allow it to hold is worse. I personally know Rachael to be a person with integrity and an incredible work ethic but sadly she, along with the unfortunate diners, was subject to a public attack by Carmella that has yet to be addressed by owner Rudy. I can tell you from personal experience as a server that negative staff create a negative experience throughout your entire restaurant. Nothing better than going to your neighborhood restaurant and having someone already know your name, who you are, and what you like and dislike especially during these times when we don’t get out often. And the last thing I want to hear when I ask a server a question is that they go get ‘my’ server to answer my question. Rachael was a wonderful asset to your restaurant and will be missed. I won’t be back...
Read moreThis small, intimate restaurant is a gem! The decor is classic and a bit antique-y, and the service is personal, warm, and attentive. The menu is superb and worth the drive to find this restaurant. The restaurant features a selection of Italian and American fine-dining entrees, appetizers, and deserts that make for a very special meal. We didn't have the steaks tonight, but what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked really good! We came in just after opening a 5:00 and were seated immediately, but by the time we finished there were plenty of folks waiting for a table, so reservations would be recommended. Our meal was perfect: The calamari appetizer was particularly good - sliced portions of larger calamari instead of tenticles and rings - tender and served with a nice aioli. My Chicken Picatta was nicely crusted and tender, served with an excellent, tangy lemon caper butter and fresh veg. Five Stars! My wife had the special, Steamed Clams with Fettucinne, and loved it. Wonderful flavors, and large portions! Could not turn down desert here - Special Ice Cream concoction was perfect ending. Limited but very nicely curated wine selection. Lovely Bar. Suitable for a special occasion but comfortable enough for dinner on a...

I love love love eating local wherever I am and on this trip, Black Diamond Grill is 100% my favorite.
Staff is incredible, everyone of them. Helpful, kind and patient. 30% tip or higher for real.
I had Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli. I would not normally order Ravioli but the sweet creamy bosc pear sauce captured my attention. It did not disappoint...so full of flavor and perfectly cooked ravioli made this delightful, no take home container for me.
My son had the Hickory Burger. 7 oz patty with hickory bacon, onion rings, tomato and green leaves with bulls eye bbq sauce served on a brioche bun. The bacon was 😀 thick and beautiful...he loved it and wants to go back before we leave again for another.
Now, the piece-de-resistance...my friends who live here have of course been here before so they have a favorite. It's mine too 😁. The Prime Rib is .....in my entire life I've never had a steak quite like this😌 It was so tender, I mean it actually melts in your mouth for real. IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. Minimal chewing effort required.
The chef should be...
