I don't usually write reviews, but I am on this one. Food was pretty good. Service... not so much. We felt rushed bc they don't have enough seats for guests.
We were given 1 minute to look over the menu, and then felt uncomfortable bc of the lady's response when we weren't ready to order that quickly.
She had a negative attitude, and the interactions with her were tense to the point that I didn't want to ask for anything. When I did have to ask for something, she acted irritated and slumped her shoulders as she went to the kitchen area and talked to the other workers. She didn't know that I saw her do that.
We weren't rude. We didn't ask for much help. There is no excuse for acting like this with the customers who are keeping their business going.
I ended up just getting the rest of my food in a box, and I came home and ate it where I felt at ease.
There were no niceties, no extra kindness, no friendly discourse, and not much humanity. It just felt like: "What do you want to eat?" - "Can you hurry up and leave?" - "Bye."
If you can overlook feeling rushed and like an unwelcome burden, and you don't really care about pleasantries, give it a try.

Read moreFresh, fresh, fresh! Small little diner that is open for breakfast and early lunch. This place is often busy and sometimes has a line but you don't wait long. The coffee is hot and they keep it coming. Better yet are the menu options. Do you want breakfast or lunch? The menu has a good selection of daily favorites to choose from, even hash and biscuits and gravy for breakfast. They do very good about daily specials offering things like hash brown casserole, frittatas, sweet potato specialties, waffle or french toast specials with blueberry and/or pecans, oh I'm craving WestEnd again just thinking about it all! Oh but before I finish this up, I'll tell you about their sweet endings - fresh baked, homemade pies!!! You can get it by the slice or order a whole pie to take home. The pie slices are BIG, but even bigger on flavor. Don't pass this place up! It's...
Read moreFood was good BUT.. the waitress only came back one time & wouldnât return to refill our coffee!!! I made eye contact two times with her to ask for a refill and she blatantly walked the other way. When we asked for a coffee to go (after only one cup) she said welp the coffee is too expensive so we will have to charge an additional dollar for a take out refill. 1.) Folgers coffee is not expensive 2.) the owner herself told us âyeah itâs just so super expensiveâ 3.) itâs like 3 bucks to order a coffee. Making a pot of Folgers coffee only costs .50 cents tops. Loved the food but bad service & the owner complained about how expensive things are to us to our faces as we paid 35 bucks for a meal for two people. Either close up shop, or serve your customers and allow them basic refills as ANY other...
