Garb's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Blakely

We have been here a few times. The first time was not at all a positive experience but they had just opened. Since then the service has gotten 100% better. The food is good, but a bit pricey for this area. The drinks are unfortunately not great and way overpriced. The shrimp scampi flatbread bread that I ordered was deep fried shrimp on top of some cheese on a flat bread. Not at all scampied. I think the atmosphere is too generic and there are way too many high top tables that not everyone can sit at. I’m sure they will continue to improve. Really disappointing. Frozen burger, like a Bubba burger from the grocery store and it's like $14 and doesn't come with fries, they're $4 extra. The cheesesteak egg rolls were something I loved from AJs, these were a fraction of the size. Fries were so overdone you can crack your teetFollow that with an $11 martini with next to no alcohol in it and it comes 3/4 of the way full. I've never left a negative review for a business in the area but...

We went for Trivia, which was great as always. I’m not really loving the new look, I liked AJs.. The bill for 2 of us was like $130!! if I’m spending that on a Tuesday it better be worth it.. But the drinks where weak.. the calamari was good.. everything else was meh.. I’ll give them a star for that and 1 for trivia... I’m pretty sure we aren’t going back.. Feel bad for the review but they gotta do better if they wanna...
