Beyond excited about this new Greek cafe and grocery from the wonderful people at Stamna just a few storefronts away. Agora has only been open for a few weeks and I’ve already been there multiple times to try as many items as I can.
All of the baked treats, cakes, and custards are amazing. I don’t have much experience with Greek sweets and pastries and everything I’ve tried has blown me away - I’m especially partial to all the different kinds of cakes soaked in sweet syrups.
Brunch there was fantastic as well; they have a small yet diverse enough menu to please everyone and it’s built around the ethos of making simple, classic dishes the best they can. Highly recommend the omelets and savory crepes!
If you’re looking for good coffee, they have full espresso service too - cappuccinos are super creamy and delicate.
Finally, they have an entire mini grocery of Greek imports, unlike anything you can find in the immediate area. Pastas, beans, olives, packaged sweets, chocolates, cheeses, even frozen goods - they have pretty much anything you might want.
So, I can’t recommend this new spot enough. Really looking forward to grabbing a delicious dinner at Stamna, then popping over to Agora for dessert and coffee. Do yourselves a favor and make a trip as...
Read moreWowww! I can't believe I waited so long to try this place! Breakfast is my ultimate favorite and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The website appears more of a bakery-takeout-market type of place but the inside has table service with plenty of tables! All of the pastries are out on the counter and look delicious. We were told to seat ourselves and our server brought out mini croissants with water. I ordered the matcha latte with almond milk. It was a good premixed culinary sugar blend. I ordered the egg white power house omelet and it was delicious and enormous. There was probably an entire avocado in it and was large enough to feed 2 people. It came with fruit and I was happy it was a mix of berries and bananas. My husband loved his bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. We also split a cranberry scone which blew me away. I think it may be my new top favorite scone of all times! The restaurant does get pretty busy. The overall atmosphere is busy but efficient. We sat in front of the counter and they do ring a loud bell every time an order is up so I'd recommend sitting in the back if that would bother you. Overall such a great value for the quality and amount if food. Can't wait...

My wife and I had: -Bougatsa (custard filled phyllo with sugar and cinnamon) - The custard was nice and firm -- DELICIOUS
-Spanikopita (Spinach/greens and cheese in phyllo) -- Good
-Kourabiedes (Cookies) -- Best I've ever had
-Portokalopita (orange semolina cake) -- The orange flavor shone through without the usual tartness and the texture was lovely INCREDIBLE
Greek Salad - Good quality with outstanding dressing
Tiropita (cheese in phyllo) - Tasty as can be
Tylokouloro (another cheese pie) - Also great!
Greek coffee - Strong and delicious for those who reallllly like a rich coffee flavor
Greek yogurt with honey and cherry preserves -- Every element of this was absolutely fantastic; altogether it was a symphony of rich, sweet, and tart
We had another dish that was a cross between a custard and yogurt with the same phenomenal cherry preserves on top and a thin layer of cake below -- high marks for...
