Gorgeous dining room that blends elements of modern industrial, cafe chic, and homestyle decor for an environment that is bright and white without feeling bleak. Food is generally very good. Meatballs were dry but tasty, though chicken was perfectly cooked. Was worried initially because it felt a little firm, but they were great. The issues I had were this: as far as the dining room goes, the trash cans (bucket style on wheels) are bright orange and in open view of the dining room. Questionable aesthetically. As far as the food goes, the biggest issue is that you have too many choices. It's great to be able to build a bowl exactly how you like it, but especially if you're a first time customer, the sheer number of options makes it difficult to escape decision paralysis. Second, we ordered the feta fries and I was pleasantly surprised to find them to be delightfully seasoned and perfectly salted--a true rarity. Trouble is, the aioli they come with is salted as well, which throws the balance of the dish overall to the over salty, especially with the feta. Finally, the majority of the feta in our basket was in chunks bigger around than our fries, so it just fell to the bottom, and would have overwhelmed the fries anyway, had we eaten it. We probably discarded two to three ounces of feta. If the feta were processed into a fine crumble, the same effect could be achieved with a better experience for the diner, better profit for the restaurant, and less food waste.
Overall though, Feta is excellent and I will be returning.

Read moreI completely agree with the other review saying it is “Mediterranean Chipotle.” We ate there for the first time tonight—the space was great, it is one of the first times I have seen a designated kids play area in a restaurant, and being a parent of a toddler, I loved that idea, because all parents know how difficult it can be to keep a young child seated for a meal. The employees were very kind and friendly, the line moved fast and I thought the price was good for the food that was served. I am excited to go back and try out some of their morning items—coffee, smoothies, etc. I am not vegan or gluten sensitive, but it seems like they cater toward both dietary needs.
The only areas for improvement that I could see are 1) There are a lot of options for food and it would be nice to have recommended meals that go well together advertised for people who don’t eat Mediterranean often. 2) From paper menus to plastic forks, it seems that everything the customer interacts with can only be used once, creating a lot of waste. I’m not an active environmentalist, but even I felt guilty when we ended up pitching everything on our table in the trash (excluding our cans/bottles that we put in the provided recycling.)
Overall, I was really pleased with the experience and look forward to returning...
Read moreI believe in supporting local businesses and I love the premise of Feta Kitchen (fast Mediterranean), so I want to love this restaurant. Unfortunately, there are a few areas that need improvement.
The good: The staff are lovely and the food is pretty good. We do love the space, especially the play area when we have our kids.
The not so good: My biggest complaint is all of the disposables used. Even if you dine in, you are served with plastic. I wish it was at least compostable, but plates and silverware would be good too. The bowls tend to be filled to capacity, which is great for leftovers but it's hard to mix everything before eating. Some of the pricing also seems a bit off relative to the rest of the menu and some of the food categories seem arbitrary (less sauces, more roasted veggies, please).
Parking is difficult, but it's in a great location for some...
