Don't come here for poker, they don't take kindly to new players, unless you like being barated for the way you play the game and being shorted on chip up during the breaks.

The service was better than some bars I've been to, but often felt ignored by the bartenders standing pretty much right in front of me.

When I sat down at the poker table I was greeted by mainly a friendly welcome, but there's always that one person that has a huge ego that needs to be stroked and I'm not one that stands for that.

To make a long story short when I would go all in he would intentionally say that he folded one of my outs and eventually I let him know that I didn't appreciate it and he said he didn't appreciate me laughing at everyone when I took them out of the game.

That was an excuse he pulled out of the air because he was jealous I kept winning. After that confrontation was over all the fun went out the window. During break he was outside running his mouth about me to his buddies with a cane in his hand, I guess he was trying to intimidate someone that could be armed, I don't understand people.

He also liked yelling out to his dad as if he really holds weight in the office lounge. It's honestly hilarious how serious people take free poker, lesson learned for sure this time! Don't play free poker it's a complete waste of time!

With that being said, you might get jumped at the office lounge if you beat...

I would give this place ZERO stars if possible. The food is mediocre at best and feels as outdated as the owners attitude. Recently he ILLEGALLY denied service to a disabled veteran who had a service animal with them, claiming he only allows service dogs used for blind or apparently physically impaired customers. He tells everyone leaving a review about this incident to “Look it up on NOLO”, which is exactly what I have done and attached the pictures. He’s pointing people in the direction of information that proves he is in the wrong! It should also be pointed out to him that not all disabilities are visible to others, especially in veterans who have been in combat. Many suffer from PTSD and have these dogs who are certified and trained to assist them WHEREVER the owners go, and can do so legally. A public business cannot deny access to a certified service animal and its owner simply because the disability is not visible. Save yourself time, money, and your taste buds by not patronizing an establishment like this which discriminates against disabled veterans who risked their lives so this lowlife...

I hate to leave this very honest review about discrimination however: I frequented The office lounge and recently went to celebrate my 35th birthday. There was an older woman bartender who told the guests that I came with, that I "mooch" because she noticed that many of the gentlemen usually offer to buy me a drink and I accept. I'm a beautiful woman as well as business owner here in Bloomington where I have lived for 15 years. I thought it was very hurtful and unprofessional of the bartender to gossip personal feelings to my guest on my special day. I am a kind person, so to hear this I understood why I stood at the bar waiting to order while the bartender served others and didn't acknowledge me. I feel I was penalized for allowing gentlemen to treat me to cocktails and discriminated against. The only other issue I have ever had at this bar is that my car was hit buy another customer as the parking lot is small. I did not complain I simply worked it out with a person who hit my car and ended up making a new friend. I wish this business well but I will not be...

Straight from NOLO….. “Which Public Accommodations in Indiana Must Allow Service Animals Under the ADA, the definition of public accommodations is very broad. It includes: hotels and other lodging establishments public transportation and terminals, depots, and stations restaurants and other places that serve food and drink sales or rental establishments service establishments any place of public gathering, such as an auditorium or convention center places of entertainment and exhibit, like theaters or sports stadiums gyms, bowling alleys, and other places of exercise or recreation recreational facilities, such as zoos and parks libraries, museums, and other places where items are collected or displayed publicly educational institutions, and social service centers, like senior centers, homeless shelters, and food banks. Indiana law defines public accommodations more generally, to include any establishment that caters, or offers facilities, goods, or services to the public”.

I have always wanted to come in and check out the Office Lounge, but never could find a place to park outside. I found out that you can actually park across the street and at the office building next door! I believe Carrie was my waitress, and she was fantastic and attentive. Very funny as well. As a single woman, I appreciate being able to walk into a bar and sit and read the news without anyone staring or thinking I’m there to be picked up. I felt totally safe and comfortable the whole time. If I wanted to be more social, I’m sure I could have sat up at the bar and chatted with those folks. Very laid-back vibe. Food was really excellent, hot, and drinks reasonably priced. I hope to become a regular and meet Larry one day.
