Crispyjo — Restaurant in Bluffton

It's going to be incredibly difficult for me to come back here and give it a 2nd chance. I ordered a 10 piece wing in crispy jo hot sauce (i did want it on the side tho), 1 gyro no tomato and 1 order of crispy jo fries. To start off, got home and opened my gyro to see tomatoes. Gross. Doubled checked my receipt, sure enough the order was put it to clearly state no tomato. I can let that slide even though they absolutely were not busy, but come on. Then, my 10 piece wings kind of pissed me off because I asked for sauce on the side and the woman said "we don't do that" which should have been a red flag for potentially gross wings that have been sitting in sauce already cooked... and sure enough, they were inedible. My wait time for my order was way too quick to be fresh made wings so I had a hunch, but the sauce was as my husband put it "absolutely disgusting" and I have to agree,( he is NOT a picky man when it comes to wings). All heat no flavor.The fries were pretty awesome though even though my pallette for sure detected the taste of burnt oil and deffinetly needed seasoned a little more. So 1 star simply because I have to but I don't think this place will last.

Drove to Bluffton from Findlay to try this restaurant. I ordered a # 2 gyro dinner. This meal was pretty good. I ordered an extra cucumber yogurt sauce. Combine the one that came with the meal and the extra one didn’t fill up one of those little condiment containers. I also ordered a # 6 dinner kebeh for my son. Totally uneditable! I bet minimum a half a cup of oil was in his to go container. All of the food was pooled in oil. Also ordered a gyro “sandwich” , this was the best thing I ordered, but once again, very little cucumber sauce on it and the extra one for that was not even given. For my first time experiencing this place, it will be my last. For $56.00 and the drive there, huge disappointment! Then having to leave my house again to get my son something different so he could also have dinner. The woman at the front counter was very helpful with me trying to pick a meal for my disabled son. Excellent service and a clean, pleasant dining room. The fries were delicious but in a quantity for two or three people. If you’re having fries, don’t order anything else or you will end up throwing some away. The gyro was excellent but again just so much meat it was a meal for two. Fantastic pita! The crispy chicken was heavy on breading but low on meat. And all of the breading slid off of the meat on the first bite. And why do they have a tip cup at the counter or solicit a tip when you are paying with a credit card? No wait staff accept the person at the counter.
