Stag Bar and Grill Wing Review:
First and foremost let’s forget the wings for a minute and talk about the Piggy Plate (left photo) “I think that’s what it was called.” The was curly steak fries with pulled pork, barbecue and a couple other sauces. This was a meal by itself and absolutely amazing. The mixture of everything was cooked to perfection and I will definitely be returning for this another day down the road. I mean WOW!
The wing description came from a friend of mine this morning before I wrote the review. “They’re cooked a lot like Hooters wings.” Once he said that, it was spot on. Slightly breaded, jumbo in size, crispy, juicy on the inside and the sauces homemade (vinegar based). Not our type of wing which is why the score was low, BUT I could see people loving this style so if this is your style this is definitely your spot!

Highlight: $.70 wings on Thursdays and that includes the whole wing, flat and leg. Crazy good deal for a larger wing. My favorite was the Stagenero Jr. Owner was proud and professional. Great place! Seriously check out the Piggy Plate (I know I’m screwing that name up, but man that...
Read moreHave heard good things about the food. Went for lunch about 6 months ago and had the wings and fries which were really good. But it took 1.5 hours when the place was maybe 1/3 full.
Went with 3 other couples on a Saturday night at 7 or so. We sat down, waitress/bartender took out drink order. AFTER she brought us our drinks she informed us it would be at least 1.5 hours to get our food! She said we could pay for our drinks and leave if we'd like. Of course I got a beer, so I had to chug it before we could go and anyone who ordered a fountain drink barely got to drink theirs. The place was again maybe 1/3 full. I know staffing has been an issue throughout the food service industry, but 1.5 hours on a very slow Saturday night just seems inexplicable to me. We won't be back for awhile. We ran across the street to Parlor City Brew company and all of had our food in less than 20 minutes. And it was awesome food too. So it...
Read moreMy husband ordered the fish basket and was asked if tarter sauce was okay, and he requested cocktail sauce instead, no mention of an additional charge for sauce. The fish looked and tasted like Van De Kamp fish, shaped in a triangle, and he received tarter sauce instead of cocktail sauce for an .75 extra. I ordered the Piggy Wrap that lacked the queso cheese and the corn and poblano fiesta blend. I had to go to the bar and inquire about the missing items and was told the cook forgot to add the corn and poblano blend. The waitress did bring out a side of queso. The wrap was dry and bland and no adjustment was made for it lacking the ingredients. I was out of water and she asked my husband if he wanted another $2 can of Pepsi while I sat there with an empty water glass. Also, we never received any silverware. As my Dad would've said, we ate there twice, our...
