Sweet Pea's Ice Cream and Cafe — Restaurant in Blythewood

I'm a new resident to the Blythewood area & stumbled across Sweet Pea's when I was at the Post Office! Didn't originally intend to have ice cream that evening, but I couldn't stop myself once I'd gone inside & seen the cutest little ice cream parlor with all the yummy goodies! I believe the lady who assisted me was Cindy (sorry if I got your name wrong!). She was so sweet in telling me all about their offerings, and flavors, & even let me sample a few before I made my decision! I ended up with 3 pints (Rainbow Sherbert, Hurrican Charlie, & Christmas Cookie) & a 2 scoop bowl of vanilla with strawberries & gummy bears on top! The prices were well worth the taste & quality. So much more than an ice cream parlour! Sure they've got ice cream - soft serve and a sweet variety of scoops, some I've never heard of! (Be sure to check out the "hidden flavors.") And, of course, you can get shakes and sundaes and other ice cream desserts. But... there's more! Like candy. Some I haven't seen in years, like Charleston Chews! They've got cookies. No wait! They've got decadent cookies. And coffee! And snacks! And sandwiches! Hot dogs! Chicken Salad! Even Pimento Cheese! And a friendly helpful staff too! What an AMAZING local spot! I had a wonderful experience as soon as I entered the establishment. I was greeted by two beautiful ladies that were enthusiastic about their job and displayed top tier customer service. The ice cream was delicious and the homemade cookies almost didn't make it out of the parking lot. 😋 The icing on the cake was when I was able to meet the owner. Ms. Sweet Pea herself.
