Mill Street Deli — Restaurant in Boaz

This was my first time here today and was hoping to give a good review. It was during lunch time and it appeared to be a well known place in the area to eat . However; I am highly dissatisfied with the service and my food. I ordered a 1/2 chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread (toasted) so my bread would be warm, side salad/ dressing which my order was to go . My ticket number was #98 placed at 11:47 AM.

I stand and wait patiently and listen to numbers being called 97, 99, 100, 101, 102. These numbers being called out was for dine in/take out. I see on the counter my to go plate w/ the Thousand Island Dressing next to it but my number not being called . I eventually say something at 12:01 to a worker behind the counter , that, all these numbers are being called and they skipped 98. She stated oh we’re getting it ready .At 12:04 PM a worker puts my food in the bag and say oh I’ didn’t see your ticket .

I smiled and walked out , because I had somewhere to be . As I bit into the sandwich the bread was cold like it had came from the fridge ( which I asked for toasted so it would be warm ) and I have No fork to eat the salad!! They didn’t put any napkins or a fork in my bag to eat with .

This was not acceptable to me , poor service all the way around .At this point I highly doubt I will be returning.i will be calling the restaurant also speaking the a manager regarding...

My first time visiting, not knowing the menu well I spoke to the woman at the register and said I’d like a sandwich with ham, cheese, lettuce, & mayo and that I needed the ham to be heated up! Not knowing what bread they used for sandwiches I was surprised when it was grain bread & went back in and nicely asked for it to be fixed on toasted white bread as the cashier asked the woman to refix it I again asked for the ham to be heated first to which the woman said “like normal” to the one making my sandwich! I then brought my sandwich back out to find it didn’t have no cheese on it & the ham...

I Absolutely Love This Restraunt. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 stars is because of The small menu. Yes their food is delicious but they just don't have a whole lot to choose from.
