There was a time a when I would never think of walking up to a food truck to get something to eat. Cheffrey is the person that opened me to this delicious option, out of his original truck (the current one is a shiny new food-trailer). I am a fan of craft breweries and the majority have their own kitchen. Food trunks compliment the craft beer operation well. I was introduced to Cheffrey and tried his burgers at BoMB and they were top notch. Now I eagerly anticipate getting a burger as much as I look forward to trying brews. Brussels sprouts are amazing and my favorite side. Cheffrey always comes up with creative burgers and desserts too. One drawback to the bargain hunter side of me with Cheffrey is the prices for burgers and sides tend to be high. Fortunately, I've found ways to save a few bucks and enjoy. There's an email list that sends me offers frequently. This weekend, I saved 15% by simply showing the email on my phone. There are deals announced on social media too that I always keep an eye out for. And there is a weekly brewery tie in for brew and food specials. The current one is a good deal called Taco Thursday and the tacos are delicious. Finally, I always bring cash, because that saves me too. No reason for me to use plastic when cash saves me another 4%. Typically, I'm the guy who uses his email discount and then pays with cash for additional savings.

Finally made it to try the best food truck & burger in Boca! Award winning Cheffrey Eats Did not disappoint! All covid protocols in place inside & outside. The gourmet food truck is located outside Barrel of Monks Brewing tasting room. Genius partnership. Inside we ordered brews (on tap) at the bar, grabbed a table (inside or outside seating available) and they delivered Witty in Pink (Raspberry Ale) & Single in the Sun (Belgian style blonde ale). I’m not a connoisseur of beer, but Brian & Zach were very helpful as these were light, tasty & refreshing. We even bought some bottled to take home. Similarly we ordered from the food truck and they served the perfect food pairings...crispy truffle fries, creamy mac’n cheese, medium heat chicken wings, chicken pesto caprese sandwich & the award winning old school burger (100% angus). We over-the-topped it with Carrot Cheesecake Jar. Thank you for the Idyllic Saturday afternoon with unique brews & soul satisfying fare.

This Guy we know always says you got to slow down and look around to find them out of bounds places. Well the brew is excellent and so many to choose you can find something for anyone. But the food coming out of this trailer is why that Guy found this place and we did too. Rolling with the barnyard burger. I don’t know if the chef will be up for some triple D fun just yet, but I would like to rename this to “Boca’s best burger”, because bro this burger is the bomb. Fresh juicy burger patty covered with cheese and then crunchy fried chicken breast oh wait….put some crispy smoked bacon and cover it in the bomb sauce. Just typing this is making me crave more. So if you want Boca’s best burger come ask for it by the new name “Barnyard bomb burger” and tell them some Guy sent you. And do it soon because once it airs and triple D nation knows it’s going to be bananas.

Zero knowledge of their food’s ingredients and no effort to cater to restrictive diets. Drove 30 minutes to be told “I don’t know” to any questions about gluten free / vegan food.

EDIT AFTER OWNER REPLY

We drove 30 minutes because their menu said they had gluten-free options and vegan burgers. When we asked if the gluten-free burger was vegan, the worker said “I don’t know.” We asked if the Brussels sprouts were vegan, and again got “I don’t know.” Same answer for the tacos. Three different questions, three times we were told “I don’t know.” No effort was made to check or help us feel confident ordering with dietary restrictions.

I left an honest review, and the owner responded by calling it a “POS move,” telling me to “have a great life,” and saying he’s “glad I won’t be back.” A professional owner would have said something like, “I’m really sorry we couldn’t answer your question. Please give us a chance to do better.” Instead, he chose to lash out at a customer because he didn’t like the rating.

If you have dietary needs or just want to be treated with basic respect, I would recommend going somewhere else.

EDIT 2

The owner has now doubled down, openly calling my review a “POS move” and blaming a brand new employee for the fact that no one could answer basic questions. He also shifted the conversation to shared fryers, which was never even the issue. I was asking about ingredients because their menu advertised vegan options. My review was honest and transparent. It is disappointing that instead of responding professionally, the owner continues to attack a customer for sharing a...

Don’t know how the owner was able to get my review removed so I will write another one.

Overall I had a very horrible experience here. My food was overcooked (I ordered a medium burger and there was no read in my meat) and when I went to complain the owner stated “that’s the way medium is.” However, if you look at a review on here, the owner states that “perfect medium” has red when a reviewer stated that their food was undercooked. Further, any negative reviews on here the owner likes to argue with, instead of accepting constructive criticism. I witnessed this first hand, as I simply asked for my money back in person (I was also overcharged for a side item). The owner wouldn’t give me a refund. I tried giving him constructive criticism (he should know that in the restaurant business the customer is “always right” (even if wrong). However, it felt like this guy was wanting to fight me when all I wanted was my money back for an overcook burger and being charged for an additional side that I was originally told was included with my meal. This same behavior can be seen in some of his responses. This type of behavior is probably why this guy is limited to...
