KFC — Restaurant in Boiling Springs

8/28/22 - My last review was 4 years ago, and now, I am here again. I will be complaining to the head office, as well. And if I had looked at reviews before my husband went, we never would have gone.

Stopped in for meals. The chicken was very overcooked and dry, plus we'd ordered on original and one extra crispy, and they were identical - but we couldn't even tell what kind it was, the corn was dry - corn! - probably from sitting too long, the greenbeans were only half full, and we got coleslaw instead of corn on one meal. The only thing that was OK was the buscuits.

2 weeks ago I stopped at the Grover St. store, and they gave me senior meals - 2 pcs., 2 sides, small drink, for $13.59. Today we were charged $20.24 and NO drinks. Unfortunately, my husband went, and he didn't realized he was being gutted for extra $$$. I think this time it's permanent - and it already took us 4 years to go back.

Save your money if you want what you order, cooked correctly.

I also don't wish to give even one star. At least the last 7-8 times, our order has been wrong, and the manager, Brittany, is rude and clearly doesn't know how to do her job.

Ordered wings extra crispy, told "NO WINGS", so ordered a leg and thigh crispy, got home, they were original. Called, manager, she was rude and kept cutting me off, claims said we got original wings because we opted not to wait for new batch, and when I pointed out we didn't even have wings, she told me she wasn't going to waste her time...

As a former employee I truly believe the customer service has gone way down at the Boiling Springs NC location. I came by at about 8:20 and asked for Livers the lady stated they did not have any and I asked if they would be able to drop any and she said “no we don’t sell Livers after 8..” I did not realized this had changed, however no big deal I just switched and continued with the rest of my order. She also came back and stated they were out of Chicken for the night unless I wanted Crispy, again okay we just went with the crispy. I also asked for 2 Chicken Gordita crunches. When I got my food I realized there was only one in the bag and asked the lady about the other one and she said you only got one I said I ordered two but that’s okay no problem I didn’t want to hold them up. When I got home I opened it and it was beef instead of chicken. Then when my husband ate his Crispy chicken it was undercooked and pink in all pieces. Not to mention the whole encounter with the employee was not really customer friendly. I am just super underwhelmed with how the service at this...

Every time I’ve come to this location the wait has been astronomically long and I can only assume it’s due to the children in the back consistently playing around and not taking things seriously. Even the lady who appeared to be in charge was in the middle of it. Simple questions me or whoever is with me ask are met with unknown expressions and take just as much time to be answered as it takes for our food to be done, too long. I recommend someone come in and crack down on the playing, it’s unprofessional and inconsiderate. This past time the dining area had one person in it, yet the whole store was loud due to the fun times going on in the back of the store. It is not worth it to get a Baja blast with your chicken I promise. I also want to mention that we came around 7:45 and they were already out of original chicken for the night and appeared to be deep cleaning to close up, which cleaning makes sense but closing up 2 hours before close has never been a norm for me in any...
