I used to visit this place regularly for the elotes, which is the only reason I’m giving it two stars. However, the service is absolutely terrible. The woman working there has an unwelcoming demeanor and consistently provides poor customer service.

Each time I’ve purchased elotes over the past few months, I’ve always told her to “keep the change,”. Today, I handed her $4, thinking that was the price, and instead of politely informing me of any change, she rudely said, “No, what is this? It’s $4.50.” While I usually pay with a $5 bill and don’t ask for the total, it’s not the price that bothers me—it’s her attitude. Given that she knows I’ve always left extra, a simple, courteous response would have been appreciated. Her complete lack of goodwill and basic customer service is disappointing.

I been thinking of writing a review of this place for a few years now. This is the fourth time I walked into this shop. And every time I have been disappointed. The food is not the problem but the customer service. From the moment you walk through the door to when you pay they treat you so indifferent. Not a hello or a smile nothing. I have been giving the place multiple tries throughout the years thinking maybe I just catch them on a bad day but they never seem to be happy. I also feel like they discriminate young adults. I understand because they are near a high school they might have had bad experiences with young adults, but that doesn’t mean every young adult is the same. As a young adult whenever I go in to order I always make sure to be respectful by saying please and thank you but the workers tend to respond very rudely. Terrible service and overpriced. 1 medium mangonade for $6.24 which I think is fine but then same size medium vanilla ice cream is for $11.28... Parents if your teens are going to this place after school for a little treat, be warned that they are most likely going to get price gauged. Old lady and old man are super rude and not pleasant to even deal with when paying. Plus the old man was trying to scoop up the ice cream and was having such a hard time with the little scoop he was using that everytime he made a ball out of the ice cream and then picked it up with the ice cream scoop that his hand would touch the ice cream....
