We went in Sunday for brunch and I ordered the buffalo Chicken wrap and my server didn't ask "grilled or fried" and I ended up with grilled when I wanted the fried. Yes my fault for not saying it but server fault for not questioning. My wife had the Greek omelette. Both items were below standards. I asked for a side of Blue cheese dressing which they do not carry and then I asked for a side of mayonnaise. He brought out a full container. I questioned it as soon as he set it down as I picked it up. It was very warm. I squirted a little bit on my plate and it was extremely warm. This product clearly says refrigerate after opening which I'm thinking that they think this is like a ketchup bottle and could be left out on the tables. The wrap was put together very sloppy And had no flavor at all. I didn't eat the other half and only a few of the cold soggy fries. The Greek omelette was burnt and the potatoes were lukewarm and soft that my wife had. She as well did not eat all of hers and then a busser came and took our plates. What if we did want boxes? We barely saw the server as we felt rushed from being in there and then while checking out at the register I made the comment of it was filling but not very good. And the manager in earshot was dressed in a sweater unlike the other employees and her response was "I'm sorry about that" and then walked away and proceeded to do other things. Absolutely no hospitality of caring for their guests or even wanting to know why? if a guest takes the time to come and see your establishment, you should be very hospitable hence the reason hospitality industry. Just a heads up to the restaurant that you can make people very sick for not following proper procedures in health and...
Read moreI never write negative reviews, but this one warranted one. We went for breakfast with our two kids. We hadn’t been there in a year, so I wanted to ask a few questions before I ordered. I asked if there was a single pancake as my son wanted a chocolate chip pancake. Yes, it’s $3.99 and a $2 up charge for the chocolate chips, so you’re better off getting the kids Mickey pancake. Ok cool. Got that for my son. Food was ok, not great. Service was not great, but we probably would’ve have chalked it up to them having an off day and given them another chance had the following not happened. Our bill came and I was charged $7 for the Mickey pancake and another $2 for the chocolate chips. I nicely asked as I was under the impression the single pancake would be $5.99 and the kids was $7, not $9. The woman who was taking payments made such a big deal over me questioning this charge, but she did take it off and I thanked her for it. She then called over the (wrong) server to scold her on the fact they don’t have a single pancake and to not tell anyone about it. Then she told me “I have to make a note to explain this to the owner & you know, we have to pay for those chocolate chips?” I have never been treated like this in a restaurant before in my life. We will never go back after this experience. They also charge you a 3% fee if you want to use your credit card. The guilt trip over 10 chocolate chips was...
Read moreI was very disappointed with my last visit to Bonita Brunch. We eat here often and usually with good results, however this time we fell between the cracks. We arrived and as expected there was a wait, we put our name in and waited. We were sat down as usual and this is when we were forgotten. After 15 minutes sitting I asked 2 different servers if they could send a server to our table, the manager finally came over and took our drink order and shortly after our server took our order. During this waiting time I watched our server take orders and bring food out to tables that were sat after ours. 30 minutes after we place our order it arrives. Tables that were sat after us are done eating, I ask our passing server for a coffee refill as she never checked on our table. By now I was a little aggravated and asked a passing server if the manager could please come to the table, he never comes. I repeat to our waitress that I still would like to speak to the manager, he never stops by. I ask for my bill, pay and let the cashier know the manager never acknowledged my issues. I hope they stop treating customer like this as I will probably not return any time soon. A loss on both ends but after all, I was treated poorly on father's day and no apology was given which is...
