We were very happy when this Starbucks opened, but there has remained a persistent problem with the employees' behavior -- namely a barista with reddish hair who has always "recognized" my wife then intentionally disrespects her.
I am home in a wheelchair so my wife comes here alone. She asks for "an inch or two" of extra steamed milk on the side of her latte, which is the sticking point the staff uses to disrespect her. The employees seem very intolerant of this simple request and give it to her begrudgingly in a tiny cup with no lid at the drive-through so it can spill; today she was given only 1/4" instead of the inch or two she asks for. When she obviously had to ask for more, the reddish-haired barista made things extremely difficult for her, arguing inside the store with my wife and challenging her, trying to "prove" things and "be right", trying to control my wife and find reasons to withhold and be ungenerous, then finally lied to my wife's face about what she had just given her.
When my wife stayed cool but was obviously disappointed, this barista then jeered my wife passive-aggressively, saying "Have a great day!", then looked to the other employees with satisfaction that she had just mistreated my wife.
This is absolutely unacceptable. This barista should be fired. She's not an asset to the store, and never has been.
My wife is the nicest person alive, and doesn't deserve this.
We spoke to management a few times last year and won't give this location a...
Read moreLocated next-door to the closed Friendly’s building , this new Starbucks just opened yesterday and is a stand alone building with a large outdoor patio, lots of parking and easy access to the drive-up. Very friendly baristas! The guy who rang me up later asked me how my chocolate cold brew was, which was perfect. The inside atmosphere/decor Is really welcoming and calming. Modern furniture that consists of tables and chairs, no couches . There is one long family style table That can hold about 10 people, there was a group of people having a meeting at it when I first walked in. There’s also many smaller tables with surrounding chairs, and comfy padded wall seating. The bagged coffee and accessories area is smaller than most of the Starbucks that I’ve been in … Not many choices for buying a Starbucks coffee mug or travel cup and there was no Starbucks Reserve Blends from their small coffee farms. That smaller area makes more room for sitting though because the sitting area is much larger than Mashpee Starbucks and the Starbucks near the Bourne Rotary. This is definitely a place I’ll come with my laptop to chill and do some work! Overall, Best Starbucks...
Read moreExtremely friendly folks working there. Live about 3min drive from Sagamore location. Was very excited when it opened. I only order cold brew black. Nothing else. Both times were the worst iced coffee I've ever had at a Starbucks, and today it was so watered down and so bad I didn't even drink it. ( 1 medium black iced coffee with tip $6.25) Wouldn't pay a nickel for the cup I got today. Tried sending a message but not this is the only possible way to give feedback it seems. I was really looking forward to buying many wildly priced black coffees, and I really hope that this review is taken to heart. I've been to Starbucks in Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico, all miles better than your...
