Cabrera's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Today, my daughter and I decided to try a different Mexican restaurant in BG for a change. BG has a ton to choose from, but serendipity was with us this day! Pictured is their Burritos Mexicanos, stuffed with pork, tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. I was a little disappointed that this dish did not come with beans and rice, but I quickly realized that it stood by itself VERY well. It may look a little sloppy compared to our usual digs, but it more than made up for it with flavor. The service was excellent, the decor was Mexican restaurant chic, you can't ask for anything more, except the prices are lower, so yeah, it's got that too! I got told by the front desk not to come back after I found something in my drink rudely we asked for our money back repeatedly just to leave and get out of their they tried saying it was a burnt chip but it looked like cloth after cleaning which shouldn’t have been in the drink and I saw it in the glass after a refill so who knows if it was in their with the first drink and I drank it it disgusted me they tried to defend themselves after a mistake just make it right and move on I’m terrified if I might get sick do not come here with kids do to rude service and behavior that can distrust your whole experience the food was good for what I had hard to say if anything else on the menu is good though I do not recomend this place in...

Well. I had to edit my last review because they are slipping on their steaks. We eat there regularly and I usually order the Noel's plate which is the ribeye with grilled shrimp and sautéed mushrooms & onions. Lately I've been having some real issues with this dish. To start with the grilled shrimp had zero seasoning on them. Also the mushrooms were cooked to death. Now with the steak, if you do order it, you have to make sure you order it rare if you hope to have any red in it at all. Whoever is cooking them does not know anything about cooking steaks to order.
