Finding it is half the fun. Turn down that road that looks like you're going to a stockyard. It is located in that building. Small sign "Cafe" above the door is all you see from the drive. Once inside you will find a nice Welcome, comfortable spirit and furnishings. Dinnerware is styrofoam plates...don't let that dissuade you. Food is good. My waitress was Kelli. Very happy personality and willing to give you both the history of Laura's and Menu advice. This restaurant is known for its catfish, so that's what I had. Green beans and mac n cheese were my sides. (If this place had more directional signage...signs that were colorful and stood out... and its customer count would rise greatly) Thank you...

Sides are mostly potato based (fries, tots, mashed, etc) and green, white, brown beans. Several plates with two sides are available. I always get the catfish platter. The catfish, by itself, deserves a 10. It is sweet and flaky with a yellow corn breading that is crunchy without being heavy. I also like the house made mayo cole slaw. Try it out. Kid friendly and family encouraged. Basically...
