Devil Dog Saloon — Restaurant in Brackenridge

First time ordering food here. Wanted to try somewhere new for wings. Ordered a dozen & a half jumbo wings, when I arrived I was told they didn’t have them so they gave me as many wing dings to make up for it. I was disappointed, if I would’ve gotten a call about that I would’ve canceled my order but I was already there so I accepted what it was. When I got home the wings were almost too hard to eat they turned into a burnt powder with every bite. & the one box we couldn’t even eat because the styrofoam had melted all over the wings… not to mention the environment, I know it’s a bar & it’s not for kids but I just ran in to get the food with my son. A patron was putting chalk for the pool sticks on his head (once we got outside I realized there was red stuff all in his hair) as well as trying to play pool with him which at first seemed pretty innocent & nice but he was literally taunting my 5 year old son telling him how he’s a winner and he’s not & just basically not being friendly for someone who’s volunteering to be trying to play with a kid it wasn’t like my son was going up to this guy...

I live by the DDS and prior to its opening the neighborhood was quiet and since they have opened Fridays and Saturdays (and occasionally work nights) can make for difficult sleeping - especially out back where drunken revelers congregate at the picnic table. Unfortunately one drunk from the bar broke the back window in my car - a pointless act, which caused me 350 dollars to replace. The police said to park down the street which I now religiously do. Due to patrons parking on the street, evening parking (where I live) can be bad and I often have to park down the street (which ironically helps to protect my car from damage). I went in the bar once and it was an ok experience but given my collective DDS experience, I cannot say I am very enthusiastic about the bar and thus do not...

Awesome afternoon out with some friends. There was a regular there (older gentleman) who wanted to keep Mulan on one of the TVs during college football.. and bless the bartender, she let him. She was really friendly, quick with drinks, knowledgable about the menu. Glad I listened to her suggestion on the pork stickers - get them, you won't be disappointed! All of our food was generous portions, great value for the price! One of our favorite evening places just became my favorite Saturday...
