Great coffee shop. They had breakfast food when we stopped in. We got a buttery pastry wrapped egg and spinach hand pie. It was delicious. We also got a toasted everything bagel, which was also very good (but to be fair, I have never had a non-low carb bagel I didn't like!).
They have breakfast sandwiches and lots of other food options as well, like wraps and cold sides.
I got a dark roast drip coffee (Sumatra at the time) and a single espresso, and it was one of the best I've had in a while. I'm not saying others are bad, but this was just more to my liking. The barista was a little heavy-handed with the cream, but it was still good. Maybe just be specific on how much you want when ordering. My wife got an Americano with lavender syrup and enjoyed it as well. Staff was attentive and friendly.
On the chocolate side, we're not really sweets people, but there's something for everyone. We got some dark chocolate bars, ghost pepper and almond, espresso and sea salt, and lavender coconut. They have a bunch of adventurous combinations as well as the traditional things you'd expect.
The space is very nice. Interesting and welcoming. There isn't a ton of seating, but we stopped in on a Sunday morning and had no problem getting a table to eat at.
I can definitely recommend stopping in, and we will...
Read moreNot impressed so far.... Still new so I'll give it time but my smoothie didn't taste or have the consistency of any smoothie I ever had (turned to liquid in minutes and tasted like a cheep Kool-Aid). The lemon scone I bought was more like a biscuit taste and consistency with little to no lemon flavor. The pumpkin chocolate chip bread I bought was decent but expresso coffee I bought I could make better at home. Not a great start out the gate. To top it off, the workers were not very welcoming or inviting except the owner which weirded me out because she was like,"I remember you from yesterday, you came back," but it seemed forced, not genuine and you also didn't even know if the drinks on the counter were yours or someone else's. They need to put your name on the drinks and call your name out for every drink until the person picks it up. Or at least say the name out loud and have the name on the cup and or bag of items facing out so people can see. I hope this place gets better because cafes are cool. In conclusion, I hope they read this and make the necessary improvements or this place won't last. I'll be rooting for them but my $20 transaction was more like a 5 dollar...
Read moreThis is a really nice coffee shop. The chocolates r amazing too. We ate some samosas (curry potato and pea filling). The bread on the samosa is like a croissant buttery dough. It is really good and bigger than a samosa that u would find in an Indian market. Additionally we had the buttery croissants and the sausage and cheese. The lavender coffee latte is amazing. It is sweet and refreshing at the same time. What stood out the most is the customer service. We asked for a sample of the lavender tea and although everything was made fresh she accommodated us. It was not necessary and it was very much appreciated. The chocolates in the back are so unique and made fresh. U can literally see them making them. My niece loves the lavender...
