Barley — Restaurant in Tarentum

Sounded like a fun place but it says it’s a grill and we show up and there’s no food served. Sounds like they shouldn’t advertise as a bar “& grill” Disappointed that we drove specifically to try this place to eat and had to turn around and drive somewhere else. Half the reviews talk about good food (granted they are 2 years old) and ones from a year ago said they hoped to have food again soon. Of course we didn't see the dates and the ones that said they didn't have food anymore when we were looking. However, if you are looking for a fun bar with what seemed like some fun people when we were walking in, then this place would be a good one to have a drink. I've requested Google to update them to remove the "& grill" so hopefully others looking for a bite and reading reviews don't make the same...

Three of us, attended the "Grand Opening" of the kitchen at Barley's. We all had ordered different items and every thing was delicious. One had a delicious hamburger, another a tasty chicken salad, and I had the chicken wings. The wings were full size and breaded, and I had requested no extra seasoning. the junkyard burger with LTO and fries were so good i ordered the same thing back to back in the same night. might be the best burger in pittsburgh and been searching for an above average good burger around for literally months... i was blown away !!! i didn't even realize barley had food. can't wait for...
