So I deleted my last review because a regular here threatened me to take it down but all I was saying was the truth that I feel people need to know. So to put it simply I loved the atmosphere and somewhere to relax sober and have a safe place. All the servers were and are great but... the unspoken rules, drama from the regulars that eventually wrapped me up in their fake positivity and so many things about the owner made me realize what a terrible place this is if you start going there often. Just beware. Keep to yourself and close friends and it's somewhat of an enjoyable place if you can ignore all the weird shit there and don't spend all your money. I've never in my life... even at the most dive bars for a decade... felt so alienated and disregarded of my character after being so kind and giving there. And yes I am a bully of bullies which did not help me with the hierarchy there and the owner being so immature and unprofessional. I hope one day it gets run by someone who deserves it and is run like an establishment that should be a safe...
Read moreWas nearby and searched for nearby places to get a latte from (that wasn't a gas station or big chain) and saw this place which looked interesting.
It's a lovely big outdoor space with lots of great graffiti/murals/artwork which was fun to look at.
I got an oat milk latte (as they don't do dairy milk) which was very very hot. Didn't think this was an issue until I tried to put the cup in my car at which point I found out that the lid doesn't really stay on top of the cup if any pressure at all is applied from the sides (unlike most takeaway lids which push on firmly, this was quite loose)
Ended up with boiling hot coffee all over my hands and the centre of the car.
Once I'd cleaned everything up, and the coffee had cooled down it didn't really taste anything special unfortunately. Guessing they don't use the barista oat milk which froths like dairy milk which is normally used for lattes (as there was barely any foamy milk on top)
Be warned if you get takeaway coffee from here in case they haven't...
Read moreAdobe Graffiti Lounge is a great place to go just about any time of the day to hang out and drink some of the best kratom around. As a self-proclaimed kava/kratom connoisseur, I can easily say that the drinks here are 10/10; very strong, potent, not too bitter, and the deals are far superior to the other kratom bars ranging from Tampa to St. Pete to here in Sarasota. The food from Good Fortune, a joint vegan cafe is delicious and locally sourced!
The atmosphere is lively, yet tranquil. The clientele come from all walks of life and discourse with those around you isn't uncommon.
It's the only one of it's kind as a purely outdoor bar, but personally, I've never broken a sweat, even during Florida's scorching hot summers. Adobe offers plenty of seating in all corners of the establishment.
Additionally, surrounding Adobe is a cute little neighborhood of hippies, artists, and chefs that run restaurants from inside of their homes, and it's known as Villiage of the Arts (VOTA).
I love Adobe and...
