I've lived in Bradenton for 40+ years and never had breakfast at Turner. I ordered an egg & bacon croissant with coffee and an apple fritter. The croissant was served within 90 seconds flat and tasted like it. I had to eat it fast, for as it cooled the croissant got harder and harder. I had to ask for a cup of water. I asked for the apple fritter to be heated and it was returned to me on a napkin and set on the counter...no plate. The apple fritter was good, but they are available just as good at other locations in town. To top it off, a sign states customers only get one refill of coffee. Either they are doing so well they feel entitled to treat customers this way or they are so burned by bad business and bad practices they are trying to protect themselves. Either way, I won't return to try again unless I hear something spectacularly different from...

We got that fixed but I walked to my table, donut in hand, feeling rushed...

The breakfast sandwich was good(although microwaved) however, after waiting 25 minutes while they served about 40 people who walked in to the counter, we gave up and went for donuts elsewhere. This was after the server looked at us NUMEROUS times and we even waved at her to let her know we wanted to order more and even told her that we were also getting donuts when we first ordered. It seemed to us that it's more important to get the money from walk-ins than it is to provide quality customer service to those who choose to dine in at their establishment....very sad because we were very excited to try...
